As pointed out, you're the only poster mentioning 9 5/8" casing in the last 4 days. And 7-800m to go AFTER the casing? Really?

This has been so tightly held down, when it blows (and in my opinion it definitely will), it will blow big time. A compressed spring is quite apt, BH, but I think your bags are on the low side, if you get my drift.

'It would be normal procedure to drill the vertical well first and appraise the results which would then determine if a directional well was appropriate or necessary.
A log is not normally needed to work out cement volumes to set a casing string.
There are formulae used and an excess is available to be pumped and they keep pumping until they get returns showing the displaced volumes.Standard procedure.

Indeed Wilson. There are posters who want to stop investment in oil and gas. Others, want investors to sell Reabold and invest in companies they're invested in so their companies price goes up (perhaps so they can sell at a better price). Then you just get the weirdo's who feel the need to antagonize and worry ordinary people. Also, those who are shorting the stock and have to drive the price down by whatever means it takes in order for them to buy back cheaper and make a profit.

Occasionally, you even find real Reabold investors posting, but they are probably in the minority. As it's so difficult to sort out who's who, it's probably best to do your own research. Especially right now as far as Reabold is concerned, as things are about to get .......sorry, I fainted under the pressure.

Unless you actually see it, there's very little you can believe, sadly. Probably best just to wait for RNSs and trust NOTHING ELSE.

The objectives of the WNB-1 appraisal well are:

· To evaluate the extent of the hydrocarbon accumulations found in the Kirkham Abbey formation by the WNA-2 well in June 2019.

· To test the reservoir properties of the deeper Cadeby formation which, if found to be hydrocarbon bearing, could add significantly to the value of the West Newton field.

I'm sure they would only hire the wireline logging unit if they had something of significance relating to hydrocarbons to look at - honestly GP, I can't see them wanting it to work out how much cement was needed! Pretty expensive way of doing some basic maths imo.
Hopefully an RNS soon. They MUST SURELY know something by now because of the succession of trips in and out and logging, but will they tell us?

Manwell, I think they were expecting to encounter KA more shallow than WNA-2. If I understand correctly, they are expecting the Cadeby to be a reef, which would be nearer to the surface.

Production casing? Where have you seen it Manwell?

Thanks Manwell. It would be nice if those investors who were previously showing drone footage would share what they're getting now. All we've got is swampy's footage, which they will of course try to spin to look negative. However, there are things they can't hide with their live feed...which we can all try to analyse, and where your interpretation is so valuable to those who haven't had hands-on experience of drilling.

They seem to have used up all the drill pipe a couple of days ago Manwell. They've tripped in and out a couple of times since then which I assumed was to take cores. Could they drill 70m per day?

It depends whether they release news of what they find when they find it, Desmond. They'll know something material within days, not weeks, in my opinion, since they should be drilling into the Kirkham Abbey formation this weekend if those watching the drill and the video are to be believed. I'm hoping if it's good they'll let the shareholders know. If not, I hope they wait for any news from the Cadeby formation before updating us.
