I believe Rathlin will IPO/reverse GP. That should provide EVEN MORE value for RBD shareholders from my understanding.

Another way of looking at it using today's prices:
When the West Newton licence area is sold for £500m, RBD will receive £280m, and UJO £83m. RBD market cap will increase from £43m to £323m, and UJO from £33m to £116m. RBD share price will increase from 0.6p to 4.5p (increase by 7.5), and UJO from 0.17p to 0.6p (increase by 3.5 times).

If it's the weekend I expect Rathlin will announce first as you say, and RBD & UJO will RNS 7am Monday. So I'll be checking Rathlin's site just in case - unless you're right of course and it's tomorrow!

GP, do you mean we might get a pleasant surprise because they might find oil in the Cadeby formation, or we might get a pleasant surprise because it might be a vertical drill? It's probably me, but I'm struggling to understand.

became;
"encountered oil shows in the Cadeby formation"
Whichever it is though, to be honest I like the reference to a core taken from the Cadeby formation from either WNA-1, WNA-2 or both being referred to as oil saturated.

GP. My understanding is the planned horizontal drill will only be concerned with the Kirkham Abbey formation. I believe this drill (WNB-1) is targetting both Kirkham Abbey and Cadeby formations, so I assume it will be pretty much 'straight down'. As such I expect some feedback about the presence of oil around 15th November.

I very much doubt 1p next week either CB. It's persimmon's lack of respect for other people's opinions and the plss taking of investors that I'm not keen on.

My guess is it's still Hambro selling which is dropping the price. Irritating and unnerving, but I'm confident it will be temporary.

My serious target price is 4p minimum (but I am expecting that to be reduced in real terms to around 3.5p with further raising). My current strategy is to sell 50% of my holding over 1p to give myself a free carry on the remainder, then let it run to the sale of the licence area or Rathlin IPO/reverse (estimate maximum 3 years).
