I think the buyer should get a 50% reduction, and £50m sounds right to me CB. I can't help thinking RBD may be selling their direct interest though, rather than doubling it. A third share of the licence may be of more interest to someone like Shell, and I think they could become operator on that basis. RBD would have enough cash to progress further exploration of the licence, maybe taking a bit more of Rathlin to give the Rathlin shareholders more cash to do the same?
Time will tell.

CB, what do you think David Bramhill would want for UJO's share of West Newton, assuming this '#flipitwhenwesniffit' mantra is right? Would RBD want to raise that much, as I'm sure it would be far more than Humber sold their 16.665% interest for (in effect around £3.5m)?

I'm quite interested in other shareholder's thoughts on values. The UJO shareholders seem to think UJO would sell for £100m plus! And Wressle, they say, is worth £30m! (It's only worth £4m to EOG and EDR, but because UJO have some, it increases hugely in value, it seems).

Shares Magazine showed live trades until recently. Now it's delayed by 15 or 20 minutes.
Some people use Level 2 - I'm always stopping trading shares next week, so have never justified the expense. I should have done it 7 years ago.

Best to refer to more than 1 JCB if you want to try to see what's happening. Often LSE show trades that Shares Magazine doesn't, and vice versa.

BH, when it comes to holding shares in times of real stress, logic seems to be the first casualty. If other shareholders adopt what appear to be illogical opinions or calculations, it may be for no other reason than that they are suffering the symptoms of such stress and can't cope with it. I try to remind myself of my own research, and not to look too deeply into other shareholders actions or opinions when they appear to me to be suffering with these symptoms. Just my opinion of course.

Manwell, I think the RNS stating Humber's interest would satisfy the need for a TR-1. By the way, I make 71m shares equal to around 1%, so Humber should have approaching 5%, but my maths may be wrong?
