Just my opinion GP.
IAmAnAnus/persimmon, what a waste of time those posts were. You just like to attack shareholders (especially when you know you're blocked and they won't reply) and undermine the company, who also can't defend themselves on a bulletin board.
''helpful to a company and actually drive it to be more valuable'' - by criticizing it on a bulletin board? Are you taking the plss?
I see that half wit brobberspam/persimmon is highlighting Rathlin have made a loss! Well what a surprise. They've been spending on bringing the largest oil and gas find in this country for 50 years, to point of sale. Do you think the tooth fairy is going to provide the cash? Have you no idea how a business works?
Deemule, exactly right. Why would a BoD do the shareholders any favours when they're sl*gging off the company and the assets all the time? THEY WOULDN'T. The thing is, which shareholders are going to sl*gg off the company? Only stupid ones, because they know they'd be damaging their own investment, so it's pretty unlikely to happen in the first place (although it clearly does).
So, who else is going to sl*gg off the company? People like persimmon/brobberspam and market manipulators.
By the way, Rathlin are likely at some point to be IPO'd, so I'm sure they DO care about RBDs and UJOs shareholders. Afterall, they don't want a reputation as a company not to invest in.
Deemule - I was in New and SER. I was lucky and made a small profit in each - about £6k in NEW and a few hundred in SER. LOTS didn't and lost a fortune, so trust me, I know a great deal about these characters. I suppose my post was aimed directly at the JV partners, who could nip this sort of crap in the bud should they wish to do so. And they do read these boards, I know for a fact.
It would be nice if we could get some sort of an update from the JV partners soon. If not, I can see some blogger will read his or her tealeaves, and declare they've heard there are serious problems at West Newton in order to crash the share price. Or has that one already been done?
Who knows, it may be worth trying twice!
'The news yesterday, along with some ill-judged comments on social media prompted a near 10% fall in UJO shares. This is beyond ludicrous as a 2/4 week delay makes little difference in the overall economics of Wressle which in itself is only a part of the UJO story. A fall like this is an opportunity to add further funds to an investment position which has not been altered as a result of this commotion.'
That paragraph did seem poorly laid out on the page, and to be fair it could easily be considered by the reader to be part of what DB had said, as it followed straight on from his statement. Regardless of who said it though, I agree with MOST of what was said in that paragraph (as I suspect Malcy and DB would) - the obvious discrepancy in my opinion being that the drop was in any way a result of the news release. That was all down to the ill-judged comment.
I see you're not replying to me on here Pboo, after I answered your question, but you are still making the same false claims on twitter that it is not going as planned because they are repeating operations (which is obviously totally unfounded). Are you trying to deceive investors?
From the 10/12/20 RNS:
· B-1Z well encountered a gross 62 metre hydrocarbon bearing reservoir interval in the primary Kirkham Abbey target formation
· Overall Kirkham Abbey estimated hydrocarbon column is at least 118 metres, significantly exceeding previous observations
118m - 62m = 56m minimum, either one or more additional zones.
