FTSE’s not had any reaction and the £ has fallen against the € in the last hour so expect it to too and fro a bit.
I think until people actually understand the deal and what it means it’s very hard to make any judgement, I’m sure the news will go through every detail highlighting bad and good.

In the long run a deal is definitely the less of two evils so happy about that. Let’s just see what happens over the next few days.

I chose not to get in on the last second. It can still go either way on Tuesday unless AstraZeneca is released before then.

All comes down to the brexit deal that’s now been agreed and if it comes under scrutiny. Possible veto is another underlying factor which is becoming more unlikely.

One way or another I’d expect it to be volatile. Would have been really nice to have had this news this morning, at least investors would have had a better gauge on the reaction to the news.

Hopefully I will get a chance to get back in on Tuesday but if not then good luck. :)

A lot of investors I believe will now start to pull out as confidence of an announcement is starting to fade. Why risk their profits, they probably all got in at 95 so will happily wait until the 28th I’d imagine.

The press completely dissecting every bit of information which, in turn, always seems to be a negative outlook. I think that’s the only thing driving the s.p down from this morning is people losing confidence in the trade deal. Which is all speculation so just need to wait.

That’s because it’s still not 100% confirmed. You can feel the uncertainty on the stock market still.

Everybody thinks it is but people want confirmation from the man himself.

I’m watching the ftse. I think if that shows some bullish movement you know somethings been leaked. Well that’s my guess anyway.

I might have to get on that soreadbet again and hope for the best!

According to peston I think he anticipates tomorrow to follow inline with Ursula vdl. Time wise etc etc.

I don’t doubt that we will soon be having all this futuristic stuff we could only ever dream of but we need the infrastructure to keep inline with the progress. I’m just excited that I will still be alive to see it. But yes your very right, hydrogen, ev and anything green and renewable is a good investment. Might start putting ‘x’ into as many companies as I can and see what happens in 10-20 years.

One thing that I often think about is with all new technology now. Why has Concorde never come back. :)

Although a deal may be announced tonight it’s still not home and dry as all 27 countries have to go through with a fine tooth comb and any one of those could Veto it.
Obviously great news there could be more opportunity to ‘dip bread’ for you guys if there are complications.

That’s my take on it anyway.

Adamski... I love your posting of these articles but what are Rolls Royce doing. Will take 10 years to get the infrastructure in place before can even operate. Why make it flying, just get one working on the ground first lol

They must be scouting for investment for a flagship prototype maybe. :)
