It’s a strange one to gauge. I personally see harsher lockdown measures and tightening of restriction etc etc as an absolute positive. Yes it does have an impact on the economy as whole but not near the catastrophic effects if they weren’t brought in.

Is this the way investors see this too are would they be looking at the opportunity to drive it down and lower averages?

Hi, hard to tell but I think not as it was published after trading hours. It will be more a case of panic like we saw with brexit I believe. On my other post I said I’d seen in IAG a huge 43 million pound sell placed at around 6pm last night.
I’m hoping that as Rolls hasn’t really recovered that greatly then it shouldn’t fall that far either.

So with difference in opinions about the news yesterday. Yesterday I didn’t deem it to be that bad but when looking at how journalists publish their articles it ‘sounds’ very bad.

I checked out IAG earlier and seen a whopping 43million sell trade placed.

With this continuation of travel bans and variants what do we think the possibility is of another rights issue. I know they factored in worst case scenario but the way it’s been published this takes it beyond that now if this continues.

My initial price prediction on Monday has now changed to 94p. I’d say a 10% fall would be fair. But what we do know is it has recovered that ground fairly quickly.

As I wrote this I’ve just seen nearly 2million of sells have been placed. But then last night there was a big number of buys and it went down so anybody’s guess really.

I’m sure the more experienced will lend a hand on this.

Personally I don’t see it any worse than the death rate they have stated today. And I’ve been pretty negative lately.
Lockdown is showing early signs of working and the government is going to great lengths to protect the vaccine rollout.
Travel is already a mess so it may drop slightly but dropping below 100 again, maybe. Depends what the MMs do as that was how I got burnt before.

I think the way the government word things can definitely scare monger people. It’s not the worst news by far as they are quick to take action so can only be a good thing. It’s not worse news than no deal brexit day I don’t believe where it really did drop. I won’t be looking Monday morning though.

That was strange, I expected some big orders to be filled either way after 5 minutes of being offline.
Iag and Lloyds were the same.

Unless your investing 100k plus then I don’t personally see the value in this company anymore as it is a very very long term hold and for what, 300-400%. Maybe the slow painful decline could also be down to the fact that people are now taking their rights issue profits and pulling out completely. Just me speculating but I can’t be the only one concerned.

I’m not pulling out by any means as it’s in there now but my confidence in the future of the company has been damaged. It’s great to see all of these new ventures but when they’re in a big hole I think investors want more confidence that they can survive the pandemic. It’s still not certain yet, is was expecting an RNS on more recent updates.

My opinion of course but like I said, I can’t be the only one....

Arsenal... you thinks it’s going to test the £1 again? Charts are pointing to it although I know that sentiment is a key player and news obviously.

Pretty depressing though isn’t it when it just looks all doom and gloom day after day lol. I don’t look so much but when I do, all I see is red.

Yeh I agree, it’s floating at the moment but more and more pressure being applied adding to the downward fall. Yes we are waiting for flights to resume etc etc etc but it seems that big investors don’t see this as a good buy either. In my opinion.

I’m in no doubt that it will turn around. It will probably just be a very slow rise then and the volatility will die down. I just thought that investors would be jumping on the chance to get in now. It just looks like the confidence is lost and investors are dumping and looking elsewhere. All in my opinion of course :)

Not the best signs going in to tomorrow. I know everyone says they are long term and not worried but at what point will confidence be renewed. It’s clear that investors are continually selling so when will they start to see this as a good buy?

That’s more positive news based around Covid. Regardless wether your long term or not, negative upon negative news is never nice to see.

Another thing to note, RR Frankfurt finished on 1.08. Where as rycey finished on 112. So who’s following who at the moment??

Also the obvious ongoing pandemic news along with that. With tougher restrictions on the horizon.

What to expect Monday morning... anybody’s guess. This s.p seems to react differently and strangely so we shall see.
