Negative impacts can be expected at the start of lithium mining, but these impacts will not be significant. When approving mining are
very strict criteria have been set for the elimination of landscape disturbance and the occurrence of environmental damage. In addition, heavy traffic would be in a place under the rock, where huge halls are excavated. This would have a minimal effect on Cínovec. The entrance gallery would lead from the level of the Dubai railway station directly to the center of the deposit. The ideal would then be the transport of the extracted raw material for processing directly on the tracks, which would not create an additional load on the municipality of traffic and noise. In contrast, the positive benefits far outweigh. First of all, mining will bring a significant number of job opportunities, not only directly related to the extraction of raw materials, ie in the mine, but also in other sectors associated with mining, ie in transport, processing, production. Mining will lead to the growth of business entities engaged in the processing of extracted raw materials and further production. The municipality of Dubí will receive significant financial resources in the budget, which it can use fully for the benefit of citizens.
This could improve life in many areas in which the municipality would invest funds. Mining means a significant financial benefit for the Ústí nad Labem region and for the entire Czech Republic. The citizens of Dubí and Cínovce, who are most affected by mining, should have the most information.
