Probably didn't realize that the decision to cancel the dividend, would have meant that the MCAP of the Company would be slashed by over $100 Million ,

maybe they should have halved the dividend, then shareholders would accept it is a short-term measure, over the next 6 months,

as per usual the shareholders take the full force of a bad management decision,

it could be fair value at 22p?, but with low oil price penciled in for the next few months, this will weigh on the Sp a little longer, its going to be a cold cold winter, imo

At current level, imo with the production under 20K BPD and low oil price.

Tere are other oilers producing more oil per day, and gas making up nearly a third of production, is valued 70% less than PTAL at this level,

so technically it could fall further, imo now dividend has gone for the next 6 months at least.

Train crash!!!, wasnt expecting it to fall this far, but with no Dividend, there are better oil Companies out there, so its not really surprising,

might be worth a look when it settles??, for a comeback in 2026, providing oil price doesnt fall further of course

AKATARA currently the crown in JSE bringing in $10 million dollars cash every month, with just 7 weeks until the end of the year im looking forward to a very successful end of year report from our CEO

and who knows he may just get the Gas deal signed off in Vietnam, now that would be a lovely xmas present

Currently our MCAP doesn't even represent AKATARA true value

Extremely Positive, think we will be heading towards the £15 target, great Company and coining it in.

A few oilers have had a steady increase today, probably due to oil price increasing by around 5% today

A sharp drop in oil demand from Russia’s two largest customers will put a strain on Moscow’s oil revenues and force the world’s top importers to seek alternative supplies and push up global prices.

Chinese national oil companies PetroChina (601857.SS), opens new tab, Sinopec, CNOOC and Zhenhua Oil will refrain from dealing in seaborne Russian oil at least in the short-term due to concern over sanctions, the sources said.

The four companies did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

This may have a short-term impact on oil price, if we can average around $65 for reminder of year, ill be happy with that,

meanwhile Ukraine continues to destroy Russian oil and gas infrastructure, any peace deal will impact Russia's attempt in the near term to claw back exports as it can hardly keep up with its own domestic supply at the moment

JSE still one of the cheapest oil and gas stocks available on the stock exchange, each week brings us closer to the Huge Vietnam gas prospect being signed off, now that would be a nice xmas present

Finally back towards the upward trend, sell off was well overdone, imo great Company and super dividends, this should be nearer £15 per share , will continue to grow over next 5 years

It was very nice to listen in , though not anything new, the positives i take from it are that yes, we are very undervalued, so where are the Director Buys?

we have huge upside as again confirmed the Vietnam Asset has upside potential to 1TCF, and we want to remain operators of those assets, only farm out 40-49% to a reputable Company with plenty of cash to fund most of the development cost, so perhaps No more RBL to fund that development.

AKATARA doing exceptionally well now producing near 7,000BOED , should be bringing in heaps of cash on a monthly basis

one other thing about Buybacks, i don't see those happening this side of Xmas, at least ill get my monthly SIPP top ups at a decent price then,

all good and looking forward to getting the Vietnam deal signed of this year, Well Mitch is very hopeful it can be achieved

Looking forward to the investor update tomorrow, not expecting anything that we don't know, but hopefully the BOD will concentrate on the future value upside that is to come early next year, im hoping they say a little bit more about Vietnam and its potential upside to 1 TCF of gas.

and now in todays RNS its increased to 5 Wells???

leaks in production tubing which have necessitated the shut-in of five producing wells.

Just gets better, Not!!!!!, whats going on with these wells and the leaks they are having,
