Well, i must say rather disappointing update, no real news other than the drilling planned for East Belumut , which we received through 3rd party yesterday,

its all about the forecast oil price, and still no news from VIETNAM, which is taking far longer than expected, dont understand what the hold up is here.

so the Companies NPV valuation has decreased for now until they can book in the Vietnam reserves, it looks like 2026 is going to be another year of wait and see again,

does anyone read anything positive into this update?? other than Jam tomorrow??

The recent rise in energy prices has helped restore confidence in the sector ITHACA certainly going places over the next 6 months,

GLA LTH been a good selection so far, looking forward to the dividend income

Its a super stock to hold and throws of heaps of cash

With brent oil price doing fairly well over recent weeks just above $70 JSE should have a decent amount of cash rolling in during February

we should get a more accurate position of cash on hand at the end of the week ,

we must be very close to Vietnam update considering Mitch was hoping for a pre xmas update that has slipped by almost 2 months now.

Brent oil price up over $70 now,

So far February has been a decent earnings period for JSE if this stand off with IRAN continues we should be making decent free cash.

I agree, will Dixon be buying more at 7p range or possibly bid for the whole company while its in a disarray position?

GLA i wouldn't bet against Croda launching a bid , lets see what the sales numbers are at the next update

Should be interesting what valuation price they will put on JSE, one year on from the previous outlook, last year it was

£1.02p

Guidance i would imagine will still be around 19,000-22500 BOE/D

OPERATING COSTS and CAPEX COSTS will be the deciding factors for 2026

will the free cash still around the $300 million mark?

Brent oil price been hovering around $70 all day, think once it breaks through it will probably stay there,

Most large oilers are starting to hold back on big spending until Oil prices are back in the $70-$80 range

With the increase in brent during February to close on $70 per barrel, if this holds at these levels, this should put JSE in a much better position to reduce the debt structure significantly faster than expected,

as the standoff between Iran and USA continues Brent should hold at these levels,

if it does kick off then a bounce to $100 would not be out of the question, imo

very quiet on the oil stocks before the storm?

With news about to drop in the next two weeks or sooner, with Vietnam update any day now

ill be looking forward to adding a few more into my SIPP next week, as long as it stays under 23p that is,

providing USA doesn't go Ballistic in IRAN,

as talks fail, Brent is rising, USA advises those that can evacuate from Iran

Friday talks cancelled, USA sending USA George Bush carrier to join the other other strike group. USA

Could we see $80 oil before the weekend, strike on Iran would probably send it into orbit, imo

With the year end trading update now out of the way, i would think we will remain in this low holding range 23-25p for the next couple of weeks, until we either get a Vietnam update or the 2026 forecast and reserves are released.

Meanwhile the Company is getting on with the job at hand maintaining excellent production levels (especially from AKATARA) good control over costs etc.

I would like to think that the Company focus in Debt reduction in 2026 even if it means pushing Pen Mal back into early 2027 ,

Get the debt down to Zero in 2026 should be the main focus and build up a cash position while we are motivated by Vietnam

Who knows maybe Petro Vietnam will make an over for JSE rather than just a buy in to the gas prospect

were certainly cheap enough, a bid of 60-70p might get Tyrus interested

Since Mid-December lows, all about low oil prices this last period prior results, if the oil price recovers towards the end of 2026 JSE will be in a great place by then, imo

JSE building out the resource in low oil price are doing a great job , keeping costs down and production up

AKATARA providing regular monthly cash into the balance sheet

Returning back to normality should settle around 23/24 before the retrace back to 25p prior next update

why is no one mentioning CWLH and PEN MAL both worth Multiples of current MCAP and CWLH has had all its decoms cost incurred
