Brent increased 0.68 USD/BBL or 0.91% since the beginning of 2025, according to trading on a contract for difference (CFD) that tracks the benchmark market for this commodity. Brent crude oil is expected to trade at 76.71 USD/BBL by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. Looking forward, we estimate it to trade at 79.90 in 12 months time.

i would be happy with Brent staying around $75 for the year average, meanwhile gas prices have risen 130% this year,

that's a big positive going forward, with Gas now a major component of our assets, although over the next couple of years our prices are fixed, it will be interesting what kind of price they set the Vietnam FID on. that will be a major contributor to JSE in the years ahead, imo

USA and Russia begin the process of bringing the end to the Russian and Ukraine war, with Zelensky going to S.A to see what has been proposed, A Land grab by Russia will no doubt be part of the deal, bt what security will USA offer up to Ukraine for conceding the land????, if Zelensky isnt happy there may be no deal, and Europe may be forced into supporting Ukraine for years to come, A Nato membership agreement for Ukraine may be the key to getting the deal over the line, imo but needs to be in a timeframe of minimum3 years, imo

hopefully sanctions will ease before the year end

The full year 2024 results will show where the money was spent and invested, its the forecast for 2025 which will be the catalyst to take the Sp much higher, im looking forward to the 1st half results in 2025 and hopefully a return to Buybacks and dividends this year. That should get the Sp racing !!!!!

be nice to also show the Operating costs have fallen in the second half, we have invested a serious amount of money in upgrading the FPSO over the last 2 -years, payback should follow

Lets hope we see an end to the conflict before the summer, and then a release on the sanctions before the year end.

nice to see the Brent holding above $75, we should be picking up nearer $80 for our sweet oil, if there is another lifting, ?we should get a decent price . i will be surprised if we don't turnover $500 million dollars this year, especially if oil stays above $75.

My fingers are crossed we do the Vietnam deal this year, that will take JSE to another level!!!!!!

All set up for the next lift up, should take us over the 30p level and onwards for a steady rise into 2025

AKATARA , on its own could cover a $20 million cost pool towards dividends for the next few years, imo

Maybe Gunter has an inkling this will happen sooner than later?

Toxic, think you will find its nearer $300 million of recoverable costs, AKATARA will bring in heaps of cash over the next 2-3 years and we still have another Buyer to consider this year. new terms are being discussed with them.

Great Buy!!!!, Gunter is a smart cooky, a pretty solid Buy, JSE probably one of the cheapest oil and gas production companies currently on the stock market,

Dividend returns a near certainty before the end of the year, next RNS, may give us the heads up.

Anyone like to take a view on what the annual average oil price JSE will achieve for the year 2024? with JSE receiving higher prices than Brent for its light oil, i would guestimate $79 over the year, with Trump crying for the oil price to be brought down, will OPEC bow down to his demands,

however, im sure there are loads of USA Companies who would be against Trumps wish to lower the oil prices,

at times of possible uncertainty, we should be thankful a huge portion of our resources are Gas. ensuring JSE are further isolated from fluctuating oil prices

To February, and we should get the 2025 outlook for JSE, if we can keep the numbers on production around 22,000-25,000BPD that would be a great outcome, a huge increase on last years numbers, and now all the major spending has been completed, ie AKATARA JSE will be entering a rich earnings period for the year ahead, would be great if we can get a hint of returning to Divis before the year plays out,

I am hopeful we get to hear more on the Vietnam Gas assets this year, those Dwarf AKATARA and could help JSE towards achieving 35-40,000 BOE by 2027 -28

anyhow loads to be looking forward to in the weeks and months ahead
