I don’t very often do this and especially for a Company that I have a large holding in but I just want to remind newbies to be very wary of posters who constantly ramp a share and especially ones who have a self declared large holding.
Along with a lot of others I purchased Avacta shares in the 20p range so it’s easy for us to hold at these inflated prices but please be careful and remember shares go up and down. That’s all I am saying.

WG don’t you see though by engaging with these people it not only encourages them but also gives them “airtime” so more people get involved and the problem is amplified?

Ok so this idiot writes something intentionally misleading that you are concerned will mislead a newbie so you write a new post which will sit above his also informing the newbie what you have done.
Newbies wisen up quickly CC they are not completely stupid and if they are then there is nothing you can do to save them.

CC the information you kindly put on this board is invaluable and really is appreciated so how about a different tact?

Hiya CC I agree with everything you say but surely you must see that engaging with these sad individuals is encouraging them to continue?
By filtering them they will end up just talking to themselves and go away.
I don’t think anything they say affects the actual share price.

Why are you giving somebody who is clearly winding you up and laughing at you the time of the day and oxygen?
What is actually stopping you filtering him/her?

The biggest tip I would give to a newbie is to never set a stop loss on A1 shares. I wish someone had told me that when I first started!
Oh and also forget your previous life because this really is all encompassing. Very very difficult to switch off.

It only takes one message to work out if someone is genuine. They are not as clever as they think they are and replying and bringing their message continually to the top is not the answer.
They do serve a purpose though because seeing the following message is actually quite nice.

“This message has been filtered, please adjust your filters to view”

For one night only (and a bit of light relief) I would like you to let us know your second favourite share (Avacta being the first)

So the name and a SHORT reason why you think they have got potential.
Note This is obviously just in your opinion so put IMHO at the end.

I am going to put all the suggestions in a “watching” portfolio (suggest you do the same) and come back to this thread in 3 months time so be prepared to be named and shamed!
Don’t forget to put the current share price AND Ticker name eg AVCT.

Posh79 are you really saying that the Oxford professor needs “his head looked at”?
Don’t get me wrong I’m still heavily invested in Avacta (currently forever) and I do feel that their test is going to be the “go to” test and we are all going to do well but I just wish they would hurry up!
I know that’s a ridiculous thing to say when you consider what they are doing.
Even ORPH are testing now (that’s not a ramp because I have just sold all my shares there and bought AML - now that is a ramp).

Yeah I read somewhere that they are in no hurry to open the Gaydon factory whilst the Givernment are paying 80% of the wages which I believe has been extended until October? Need to get the showrooms open first (early June?) which should be a boost for the share price followed by the first DBX off the Gaydan factory (mid Summer) another boost. Nice to hear people chatting about what happens next. If we can get through the next couple of months without anymore bad news then I think the future is bright.
