I’m guessing a sell order is a stop loss?
I’m very wary of setting these because I was told the MMs can see them and just before good news can drop the price beforehand to mop up shares.
It has happened to me more times now to be a coincidence so now I just do it?

I have seen this scenario play out so many times on every single chat room and often wondered what people get out of being negative about a share unless they can genuinely give an informed opinion why or at least one that they think we haven’t heard before.
We all know that what we say here doesn’t affect the share price so why do it ?
I was always taught that if you have got nothing nice to say say nothing.

Is there really any such thing as a “paid deramper”?
Surely nothing said here could actually affect the share price?

In the last 6 weeks I have made a small fortune on the Stock Market whilst everyday checking SAR and having bought in a spike at 0.9 have only ever seen a loss. At no point have I considered selling because when the paint has dried and the dust has settled and I tell my Grandkids about the dark days of the Covid19 Virus Pandemic SAR is the only Company I am going to remember. “Oh yes” I will tell them “one day I checked and could not believe what had happened” does anybody care to finish the story?

Pau1Oz you mentioned earlier in a post (can’t find it) about setting your stop loss tight if you are going out for the day? I normally deal with A1 shares and the MMs can be quite unscrupulous by dipping the price down just before a rise to mop up shares. Isn’t that the case here and if not how low do you make it?

Hi again RB it’s good to have these kind of debates because at the end of the day we are all in the same boat (well providing you have been tested)
Your argument that a Nasal/throat swab or saliva test is if no use because the other passenger could have picked up the virus on the way to the airport ie
100% of the time on the day you are exposed to the virus. (There are so few viral particles in your nose or saliva so soon after infection that the test cannot detect them.)
Well there can be very little virus (if any) to pass on to another person then?
An antibody test is only going to be useful once the WHO establishes that we are immune after infection?

Hi MB nobody is going to get the timing perfect but IMO it is time now for everyone to at least be thinking about reducing their holdings in any company even remotely linked to testing! Everyone and their dog seems to bringing out some sort of testing kit at the moment. The last couple of days that is exactly what I have been doing with my AVCT shares. Now have a large holding in AML.
Hope it goes well for everybody here but somebody needs to remind the Newbies to be wary.

Nobody knows when but just like the dot.com boom/bust it will happen.
So many people here spouting off “facts” about this Company and talking through their backsides. They even believe their own hype but just like in 2000 their will be lots of people left in debt. Believe me I was one of them. I am watching this unfold and just want to remind you all to be very careful.

I think with exception of maybe our leader Thoth2 (who I can not praise enough) we have all got fingers in other pies.
SARS is my “dirty little secret” and although I have doing very well in the last couple of weeks with my other investments I still think this is the one I am going to remember when this all over. Hopefully for all the right reasons!
