when did i mention, 'medium to long term'? i explained with my opinion what happened today.
"it's absolutely irrelevant to anyone other than a day trader what happens in a few hours."
no, the initial and understandable concern for everyone was the thought it could have been an engine issue. have a look at the numerous posts of concern on this chat site.
cevo, i am not going to continue this ridiculous conversation. if you want to enhance your ego, try using objective analysis in your posts rather than ****ging others.
we've all seen too many unacceptable interactions on this site and i'm not going to indulge.
Cevo
Your use of derogatory language is not nice since I expressed an opinion which is a positive one.
The SP had reached 305 and then the news appeared about the disaster then it fell by 1.6%. Had this incident not happened the SP would be much higher that it is now.
BTW , in my post you criticised, I said the SP would start to recover. Have a look at it now. You're a sad wee man.
Given the shape of the falling SP graph, its clear that the fall is reflecting a lack of confidence and insecurity and not based upon facts.
As the news reports from the airport emerge in daylight, investors will see the wreck of the smaller plane which will confirm the reason for the disaster.
I think we'll see a SP recovery today to some extent.
Charley,
Me neither. I could access the article on my phone but not on my computer but trying to copy and paste it all on my phone was difficult so I decided to paste the link hoping that others who have access to the FT could paste the contents.

Much speculation is expressed understandably on this chat site about the SP. However, when official announcements are made about major issues - SMR, current prospective engine orders and dividends, the SP will jump to a plateau which would signal the time for many of us to sell as the SP would generally stay at a little variable level.
The only other major jump in the price would be the announcement of a major technological break-through, which will happen but not for a number of years.
