After many years of buying and selling shares but essentially holding the vast majority of my RR shares (ISAs), I've sold them this morning earning more than I was expecting. Good heavens! what will I do now that I've nothing to look at every day?!!

I'm well into my retirement age and I have to concentrate on how I'm going to spend a bunch of it. So, good luck to everyone on this site (except a few impolite people) and enjoy the excitement and, no doubt, further growth!

This P&W issue is an extention of their ongoing problems with narrow body engines and has slightly contributed to RR's decision to produce small engines.

Why don't you read some of the history rather than rely on bias media.

Iran's regime which is not, domestically, the most liberal in the region, was effectively created by the UK and the US in the 1950s. Then Iran was a parliamentary democracy who nationalised the oil industry. A coup was created by the US and UK opposing the nationalisation and the Shah monarchy was created which was a repressive non-democratic one. Hence in 1979 there was a revolution and we have now what we see.

BTW, we continually hear that Israel is the only democracy in the middle-east (which is not, it is an ethnocracy) but the US destroyed the other democracy in 2013 when is supported the coup in Egypt.

Numerous European countries have expressed serious interest in RR SMRs so when the go ahead is given, those countries would want to immediately get in the queue with orders.

I would optimistically guess these orders will be announced very soon and the SP... :-)
