and don't forget just how well capitalised Medusa19 is rumoured to be. I've read the the two Boohoo founders threw £20m into it so anyone in Whitehall paying attention will know that Avacta is now supported by people with deep pockets. As does Calibre for that matter.
When do the remaining five AVA6000 test sites begin recruiting? At what point is Royal Marsden/Avacta confident enough to increase the test pool from the presumed dozen patients at RM to the full eighty promised?
3/4 doses? six? Next year?

Covidopportunist.... the crucial AVA6000 threshold is recruitment at the designated five test hospitals. I guess they are waiting for the all clear (no red flags) from Royal Marsden. I've no idea how long they have to wait. Next year?
marik......a little earlier I mentioned to MrA that it's possible to argue we are already on week 9. I know the RNS was August something but my guess is Avacta wouldn't announce that until they were fairly sure the first patient/s weren't adversely affected. Also, https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04969835?term=AVA+6000&draw=2&rank=1 states the actual trial began on the 16th July and a later note saying July 21st as a "Key Record Date".
I'm probably wrong but it's not implausible.

Apparently, #AVCT has assured Calibre that there’ll be no more… 1/n

…disruptions in supply,
Hypermarlin.....I'd say it's because Avacta is the only UK sourced technology available and for better or worse Medusa probably believe this is still government policy. As much as anyone knows what Carrie wants next week.
prophylactic?.....interesting thought. Especially as the current Covid vaccines seem to be more therapy than vaccine. Two doses will not prevent either catching or transmitting. Just protection from the deadly effects.
HUA is important but we need production first. BBI's termination was unsettling and I'm not too happy with Abingdon's deafening silence. An update on production is overdue.....especially after a month's production from GAH.
That's all true but the latest board member think's it highly unlikely:
Dr Mark Goldberg, commented:
"I find the Affimer(R) and pre|CISION(TM) platforms to be very innovative. I look forward to joining the Board and working with my new Board colleagues and the Avacta management team to develop novel therapies that will improve the lives of patients suffering from cancer."
