Our new BOD did not joining to make 1p per share they want at least double more likely 5 times the price they pay 59.5p sell prices and they want this within 5 years.

I can wait other money will not run out in next 5 years, but will start to run out around then so happy days.

You raise the possibility of Newmont taking Greatland out and then devesting. This makes me think at what price they could make a agreed takeover of Greatland.

Firstly as well discussed is the price at which Long term holders of GGP might accept and I thing over 75% of shares are in private hand, I do not know the average price now but I suspect over 10p and there expectation would be a minimum of double that so 20p.

Before an offer is presented to the Shareholders an offer would have to be acceptable to the BOD, and that value is not anywhere near the current value, the BOD have their interests to consider.

If we take a look at the options that the new directors hold and the price you will see that there are 235 million shares at a option price of 11.9p, these directors expect to buy these and hold, and not to sell at 50% profit.

I would think they would not accept anything less that 100% (23.8p) but most likely considerable more.

Shaun Day needs a price of 50p on the above logic.

GGP is not going to be cheap to acquire and that applies to the sale of Havieron as the same logic apples to the sale of our only real asset.

EOAW - you are bang on right, we have SD presenting around the world, and we have a few (maybe investors, more likely not) undermining all that is going on.

In investing you have to be strong, and you ride out or take advantage from the downs, benefit from the ups.

To criticize SD is very negative, he has IMHO, protected my investment from total failure in that GGP was facing annihilation when he took the reigns and I expect that in 5 years time that GGP will have become a very different share so different from today as today is from 2020.

He has turned GGP around so that I believe I now have a solid investment, the share price is what it is, I am not a trader so I am here for the long term and to provide a financial base for my family.

So far so good, but the big one will be timed to the day of the THM.

If you have posting views against the scheme, tell us if you would vote (if available) against incentivising the people you are relying on to make wealth for you.

And if you would vote against how you would get GGP employees aligned with your requirement to GROW the share price.

I don't expect you can explain what you would do, but you do know how to moan about others that have taken these decisions.

Some here do not understand the benefits of getting all at Greatland fully and perhaps more aligned with the existing share holders.

Most Quoted companies offer this type of incentive to their employees, so why not Greatland, I for one would sooner have the employees wanting the share to go well past 11.9p, than not have an interest in the share price.

I hope that we are at least 11.9p next year at this time and there is another incentive scheme with a price at about double the then share price, and long may the same continue year on year.

The rise in GGP price will go well past the all time high of 38p, and that is why I am invested, perhaps if you are complaining you only want TWELVE PENCE!!

I want employees to be incentivised to the maximum extent, as that is good for me, and you if you are invested.

I found this comment interesting looks like even Newmont wants some of the funds in Oz to invest, as does Shaun.

in what I say, I have not said that I think this will happen, but that the problem is who wants the liability of Telfer unless you have Havieron.

The GGPchat post is interesting and I agree with most of it, given that all we post on the boards are opinions and the final path not even our BOD know.

If we could all see the what's ahead, everyone would all be rich and then who would do the nasty jobs.
