Looking at the last trades 8.13 was a bit high, so expected a drop to about 8.05 then profit talkers to drop the price AM, buyers to lift the price PM.

If last week was repeated this week the close on Friday would be 8.06, fully expect this week to be higher but not by much.

I hope for better but would be happy with 0.5p per week, would most likely provide a period of level or blue, that is always nice.

Expect a lift on the Quarterly results and on ASX listing.

M-7 said no mining cost, which is correct mined ore has more costs.

The price of the acquisition may or may not have included the cost of the stock piles, but there was not mention except for variations to the size, so what we paid for each part cannot be ascertained, Telfer plant, Havieron, Telfer mines, tenements.

The change to Greatland was first mentioned in this post, Shaun has now confirmed we are not just a gold company any where can be Greatland land.

First trading day and we have increased by the same amount as we did last week.

Would not be surprised if there is a little profit taking tomorrow but with the price reasonably stable today I suspect that this happened today.

Thing a 10 bagger from raise so 48p is, on the big boys would have wanted that for their participation.

A New month awaits and after years of waiting we have a good week I think last week makes me feel we have turn a corner (not saying we will not have little trip hazards on the way), a full week of BLUE finishes, after a bit of profit taking on December news.

So was last week the real recognition as to Greatland establishing us as a miner.

I know I feel like from this point we are on the way up, (I may be wrong).

There is a lot of INTEREST being shown from new investors and the press in Greatland.

I think the INTEREST will just keep on growing, even AIM will not in the end slow us down.

And this Compound INTEREST will provide COMPOUND growth to the value of Greatland shares (Note on Corporate stuff the GOLD seems to be being dropped, maybe it is too restrictive.) So we will most likely just be Greatland as the business is reorganised into and Australian business.

I could not agree more but cannot do for the named Poster as they are near the bottom of my bin.

As to why Newmont would chose to sell, that was explained by Tom Parker Newmont only want to manage about 10 of the best world class assets, and Telfer/Havieron does not rate, and manage them very well.

I think the whoever has posted this has done so to be disruptive, so there will be nothing constructive from this point on.

More important things are happening and GGP if attracting more interest all of the time.

If Shaun had made that statement it would be the focus of attention and we would have seen many posts on the subjects and again if it had happen there would have been a lot of green bins banging against each other to report and comment on a point of negativity.

Correct, no consideration of taxation, and I think we have previous losses to set against any taxation due both in Australia and UK.

Nomlas: Once we are on the ASX the shares in both market have Parity.

I agree the AIM has not recently been kind, but it established GGP, but once the share price is dictated by the ASX the marker makers in the UK will not be able to play games.

In that situation why go for a full listing as the costs of listing on the main market are considerably higher and do not provide any immediate benefit.

If we gown in size so that we are part of index's in the UK then there may be benefit, but until then staying on AIM should not cause us a problem.

I think I have the figures correct and as i always say, happy to be corrected.

My figures give us a profit/surplus before tax of 2.7p per share and I think this is a conservative figure all things being equal.

You are right, I think we should have lost our investments in GGP if the world had any logic, but some times luck is on your side.

Our luck was Shaun Day, coming in, whoever selected him, needs to be complimented.

What he has done it taking GGP through the obstacle course of the years since I found GGP, by accident, has been nothing short of incredible, little did I know that the company I was investing in (in the second half of 2020) was on its way to liquidation, having more commitments than it could finance.

I don't know the field of people that could have steered the company along this road, but I am sure that there are not many, and not many that would have took on the challenge.

I think there will be more curved balls, but the management and BOD he has put together is outstanding, but this team have dealt with most of them successfully in the past and I fully expect them to do so in the future.

Normally it is the BOD that recruit the CEO/MD , I know of no situation other than expanding single owner companies where this situation has happened, and I think there may be very few or none that have recruited a BOD of the calibre and status of the BOD that Shaun has recruited.

I have had a few wobbles but I have held (often wrongly) through it all and I now see a BRIGH light at the end of the Tunnel I cannot see how long the tunnel is but that is normal, drive through any tunnel and you will understand.

Having got here I think we are at the real start of Northern Star Resources Ltd version 2, as Shaun always said about 30% of Havieron we had a better starting place than NS, I think we have a more established BOD.

All of these thing are in place and I hope we can do nearly as well and having done it once, as anyone knows the first time is the learning curve so second time, should be quicker.

Even the best management in the world cannot keep all the plates turning as fast as required, and that is what happened here, they want to concentrate on the best 10 (circa 2024) holding 20+% they can allow a smaller more dynamic management to get the best out of the assets, they would never put in the capital and energy required, they have bigger fish to fry.

Longer term as with Newcrest they can always buy out the 'then' Greatland empire and again cherry pick the projects that will keep then as the worlds biggest miner.

I see the situation for Newmont as a no lose situation, and they can do the same again.
