There may be multi-tcf in Guercif basin but if the funding, by whatever means, isn't in place to develop the resource and get sufficient revenue flowing, PRD becomes vulnerable to being picked off by circling sharks. Delays to testing or further drilling need to be understood within this wider context. Fortunately early gas monetisation here and the enticing prospect of a mid-tier Co. farm-in, doesn't put us in the position faced by HZM or SXX, both of which were way off production.

So, why were we not informed in timely fashion? I suspect that everything was tied in with Trinidad and subject to strict NDA ahead of that deal completion. PG hands were tied as he would not have been able to offer any explanation for the delay in testing, other than fobbing us off with something along the lines of waiting for Govt approvals. The opportunity to seal Trinidad took precedence, simple as that, and guaranteed the whole Guercif Project

That's MOU 3 and MOU1going to get used up in testing. Imagine being cashless in 5 weeks time. Co. would be vulnerable to all kind of daft offers. Trinidad steadies the ship,giving a much more solid base for conducting ops in Morocco.

The gas hasn't gone away. Beware the tricks being played out. Exodus of miffed small shareholders today is exactly what someone has intended.

Here in Tetouan the money is flowing like water. It's as if somebody high up has known for a while that something dramatic for the good is on the way to boost the economy.

Brand new hospital, big airport expansion, laying pipeline infrastructure, higher education buildings going up, brand new police station. It really is like money is no object. What's driving all this? Expected big gas from Guercif basin perhaps. Talk of a tunnel to link Tanger with Tarifa. Improved relationship between Morocco and Spain.

Anyone a little pertubed by the behavior of UK and European leaders and Western toe-the-line media wrt Gaza should be aware that demand for gas can be met by an Israeli Co.

Implications for Morocco here, because if Russia and Israel have the taps turned off, the scarcity of this source of energy will have these leaders banging on the Guercif door.

Whatever is found to flow from MOU-3 be sure that it's going to reveal only the tip of the iceberg (or whatever the equivalent term is for a hugely lucrative gas basin). Should provide a nice platform for starters and all-important monetization.
