In other words there must be a copper price at which this would just start bagging and keep on going, but without a clear picture of the balance sheet and P&L for both PERE and Minto itself, it’s really hard to figure out where that tipping point might be. Presumably Minto’s remaining lifespan depends more than anything on the copper price. Currently we have these objectives (from the October 2020 Presentation):
§ Bring Minto mine to full capacity in 2021 and prove life of mine at 4 years with drilling survey
§ Exploration with drilling and magnetic surveys to turn resources into economically viable reserves, aiming at least to double the life of Minto mine to at least 8 or more years
