Not knocking any director buys, but surprised re todays rise as the buys are not exactly massive and unless its just a general progress for the company, as anything noticeably sp sensitive re orders or similar a RNS would be required.

Perhaps due to the sp rise we may have something later.

A agree with your post, but not the heading.

I think, no in fact I know BumbleB must have far more patience than I have, so I think that is his reasons for many post, not as an apologist for the company.

As to patience BumbleB, I wish I had more as I have been with the company since it floated on the market, also been in and out a couple of times. AFC have always talked big, and although I agree these things take time to come to full fruition, I would have thought that if AFC were right in that they have potential customers queuing up (how many times have we heard that) then they should be scrambling to sign up with AFC, whereas it still looks like AFC is doing all the chasing.

Was saying yesterday that 2 is not that unusual, but 4 is.

Surely there must be some news in the waiting.

Companies have up to 24 hours to keep price sensitive info to themselves, unless something starts to become outside knowledge, so hopefully tomorrow am we will have a RNS.

At 0826 for a couple of seconds Bid price was quoted same as Ask

Agree. I was looking at the sp going up as it did yesterday (not much hope there though) to force some sort of RNS

Hopefully there is a RNS waiting, but perhaps the company are reluctant to release yet (could be for a number of reasons) and are waiting to see if the sp acts similar today as it did yesterday.

If it does, they will have no option as to letting the market know if there is any reason for the rise or not.

Will also look for a price price monitoring RNS on opening.

Not that unusual as often a second price monitoring follows the first.
It usually means that the auction price has not quite settled within those first five mins.

These are not always hard and fast rules – a 10% movement either way has been used as a rule of thumb for a ‘significant’ effect on a share price but the FCA has historically been very clear there is no ‘10% rule’.

From previous experience, most quoted companies tend to look at the 10% as flexible, but as PHE have a 20% share price increase, I would have thought they will release something.

Anyone have the price per kWh of the AFC EV charging system. Been looking for the pricing all over the AFC web site and can't find pricing.

A appreciate the price per kWh is not the only costing but it would help to compare with the pricing given in Klunks post re airport cost charging.

I accept that there could be and are many reasons why potential customers are waiting to sign on the bottom line, but I am certain that once tomorrows election is out of the way (hopefully not a hung parliament) many businesses will release some of the cash that they have been reluctant to spend.
I will not mention who I hope wins tomorrow, as I do not wish to turn the thread into a political thread, but it is uncertainty that is holding many businesses and individuals back from spending or/and investing.

Plus of course is the fact the the grid is prone to failure, often at the times when it's needed most.
Where I live (East Yorkshire) we get a blackout period around 20 times a year, in stormy weather it is often several within 24 hours.
It doesn't sound much, but if you are awaiting for your vehicle to charge, even a 30 mins blackout can cause problems.
Then of course there is the cost to industry, even those with cut in generators powered by that ever increasing unpopular diesel fuel.

people are saying that they do not expect anything to happen until January, but I am sure there was something about sales in December. Can't check on previous RNS as am in a wifi black spot and it takes ages to connect to anything. Took 3 goes to post this due to loss of connection.

I think the current sp is due to people including myself, opening the RNS expecting either a De-Nora warranty being granted, or a contract signed, only to see not quite as good a RNS as it could have been.

Human nature then takes over, a bit like bending down to pick up what looks like a £20 note only to find out it's only a £5, so disappointment sets in. Strange species aren't we!

Agreed, but as vehicle manufacturers prepare for these shows months in advance, no doubt AFC will be contacted directly, well before the show in August in interest to find out more details about AFC system of EV charger.

By August (hopefully) their system will be at the forefront of many of those connected with the motor industry.

If there is one showcase to be at to spread the word to the end user on EV charging, the UK motor show is it.

Next has to be De-Nora warranty, then contracts.

Surprised this has caused the SP to drop, probably shows how many investors don't understand how much Geocurve is effecting the bottom line.
As you say, Geocurve is in a crowed market that everyone and their dog appears to be getting into, this will of course increase competition greatly, therefor also reducing profits to be made. Still feel the concept is great though, no doubt why everyone wants a slice of the cake.
Shame when anyone is made redundant though.
