Like I’ve said happy, you don’t have much negotiating power in a sale with very little money on your balance sheet. But when you have the CEO and his pals very much willing to keep throwing money at this (albeit diluting us) then it sends a strong signal to a bidder.

I also see this as another way for the big holders to increase their equity here without having to buy on the open market.

We have been thrown a little 0.2m fundraise to keep us happy and not feel left out, but Harry and no doubt brimacombe will be able to add another 1% each to their portfolio without dilution.

Also they can’t buy within 3 months(I think) of price sensitive news. Is this a way of buying more shares without buying on the open market?

You can’t do negotiations for a deal with no cash in the bank and expect sensible talks. I see this as bolstering the balance sheet to let potential bidders know we have the money to wait.

It is quite common knowledge that the west have scuppered peace talks numerous times because they want this conflict to continue and if anything, escalate. They want an excuse to station on Russia doorstep and rebuild Ukraine for their corporations. The contracts are there to see blackrock and co will fund it all.
