Thankyou for your advice y11 but I am well aware how CFDs work and yes I have over £200k of stock actually, as many in here do, I really don’t get what your waffling on about? I have a healthy 6figures in my account to cover any movement in share price, I’m not sure why your talking to everyone like they don’t understand how this stuff works?
When you say “you will lose it all” like I’m gambling with money I can’t afford your assuming my financial position is all in, everyone’s level of investments are different.

Y11 I think you should learn how this stuff works before telling people they should understand it better.
I certainly don’t have a demo account and plebleens was spot in with the date the dividend was paid.

There is one conciliation, where else would you have you money right now? Apart from gold which isn’t a money maker really more of a safe haven, the best hedge against inflation right now has to be in oil and gas stocks..

The fluctuations in my account on a daily basis can be £20k+ and it’s rarely the way I’d like it to be Y11!
Still there’s something very satisfying about dividend payments for me, feels like a real bonus even if the sp does retreat on the ex divi date.

Plebleens, the financial system is a real mess and I just hope they keep their cards to the chest for another 6 months or so before showing their hand because I’m fairly confident we are all going to be blown away by how little they have up their sleeve to get out of this one. It’s been big bluff after big bluff and now comes the flop.

Labour really are that thick, the only other thing is conservative is that untrustworthy, I don’t know which is worse. I voted for these clowns in power back when I still had a little faith in the system.

It’s not if it’s when the apply a windfall tax. As I’ve said for years now it’s all part of the agenda. A big money funnel back to the government inflation is a hidden tax. Just coincidentally they can push for the acceleration to greener energy quicker and blame Putin for the inconvenience for making everybody state dependant and on UBI.
Many buisness’s will buckle which means serious lack of employment which means your eating out of the hand of the government just how they want it.
