Exciting still, if anyone can help them sort out Ghana problems it is people like this chap.

He seems to have a long standing relationship with Tullow.

Anything that turns sentiment positive right now is very welcome.

A jethro size discovery of light oil would be a fantastic boost right now, reminding the market that Tullow still has a strong reputation in exploration.

CEO was clearly pushed following work by the Chair who identified an unacceptable disconnect between him and the staff. She mentioned the feedback.

Carapa-1 isn't just about the reserves, it is the first drill that are and success derisks for further exploration.

I'll just be happy to see it hold over 60p. This isn't going to recover overnight. It needs positive news flow to restore confidence and push the spivs off elsewhere.

Re: production levels, assuming comments by VP Tullow Ghana are near the mark I can't see any reason they cannot markedly improve production in 2020. Either the gas take-off improves or the government allows the operators to flare some or all of the unwanted gas.

They will not be rushing the decision on CEO that is certain.

I think M&G buying back in gave me the most hope. I cannot imagine there were not some frank discussions with Tullow management before pushing the button on that.
