Watching intraday movements of a stock in this situation is just asking for constant pain. Recovery will take a long time and bear out on the weekly chart. I've been watching closely hoping to see this hit a steady uptrend but I fully intend to soon ignore it until it returns to a more sensible range.

There's no reason this should not start to drift up on the basis that it is undervalued and there is no more bad news expected.

Both Ugana farm down and Kenya farm down and FID are very important for Tullow. They really need good progress on both of these if Tullow is return to a decent trading range.

I was greatly relieved to see nothing unexpected. Dorothy Thompson is chair of the risk and audit committee for Bank of England so I'm taking for granted that Everything got checked into. The major portion of the write down is reversible if the long term outlook for oil changes. Seems alll E&Ps are having to do this. The important thing is she seems to be saying the recovery has begun.

Some of the wailing on the board had me worried but loog the update it is as I expected, ptetty neutral overall. The FCF seems lower because they spent on the dividend and spent more in 2019. It does look like they are reducing headcount.

For what it's worth, analyst upgrade (BCM) yesterday up from 80p to 115p, Buy.

Why would there be a Rights Issues for God's sake? Tullow have already said they have a billion headroom. Honestly WTF.

Here's hoping for a strong rise tomorrow as Dorothy sets the ground for a recovery on the back of decent free cash flow and uses her credibility to restore confidence in Tullow. I will feel sorry for staff if they announce that they will trim headcount, but making Tullow leaner seems like an important step.

Usually there will be a 7am RNS and a call later in the day. Hoping for more detail on the call regarding progress or optimism on the production issues. If they don't have anything good to say I'd really prefer they just shut up rather repeating pointlessly unlikely forecasts for years ahead that assume no action will be taken.

Doesn't make much sense, if this hits 100p, 150p will probably follow rather quickly.

I think anything 64p+ will be particularly good, but there are so many sharks circling that I'm expecting any weakness will signal another brutal attack.

Making predictions out to 2024 probably doesn't hold much value or sense but were it turn out that way Tullow would be very safe.
