Non prejudicial settlement is just that, you are paying them to simply end the case. You are taking this to mean some admission of guilt, but inversely it is an admission that there is no case to answer. You have no idea what if anything GSK has provided as a settlement amount, it may be only just enough to cover legal costs to date for the litigant. Regardless it is not evidence to be considered by a jury, only evidence within the scope of that before them can be considered. Jury trials to date on this matter went against the plaintiffs. The fact is the only true evidence available is focussed on 16 reliable studies all of which found zero connection between ranitidine and cancer.
