My take to transport costs is... Hav has not just moved further away from tefler so the transport costs would have been one of the first and easiest costs to factor in.
With newcrest going full steam ahead suggests to me the required grades and volume must be getting hit or they would simply step away.
The only question I really have is are newcrest working with other partners in the region or are all their eggs in one basket- ie our plays-Hav, Scallwag etc.

i wonder also how they factor in getting 70% of a tier 1 mine for just£65m-must give a little flexability in the offer when cruching the numbers

Joey-no issues are all with the SP- I would just like to understand the comma strategy as speculation can be unfounded and facts speak for themselves - it was explained by an earlier poster we are not in control of release info so that’s fine I know what to expect -ish

it would be useful if anybody attending the AGM could ask about information relaeses so at least we are clear on the stragery?-without being politly asked to leave the meeting of course for asking a question the part owners/shareholders of the company would like to know.!

I certainly would not expect an RNS about HAV.After emailing the company twice asking if the tail is wagging the dog in terms of release of drilling results they have not even had the respect to respond. After all its still our 100% owned asset!-i would be happy to be correct on that if its not the case now.
I have been in GGP now for almost 3 years and frankly am a little disppointed in the way the HAV j/v is being managed in terms of comms/news release for "GGP" share holders. Lets be greatful Paddy et. all are at least keeping some form of interest in the company for the excellent reseach that they are carrying out.

All is good - let’s not expect an RNS in a few hours other wise they are holding info back.

1 code-its just somebody loading up-no stress they have been doing it for days now lol.they might have a reasonable holing if they carry on this way for the next 50+ years.
what is the thought that as many suggest we are sat on an offer and the banks are looking to see if they can get an improved offer.Would that not have had to have been RNS'ed as it could effect the share price significantly? i could of course be wrong.
Any offer given our current MCap i presume would have a very posative impact on the SP.

I have asked the very question of GGP about results due from Hav.
Unfortunately I have not had a response to either email! My question being a simple one really .
We own Hav -NC don’t even own a percentage yet- I think I’m orrery on that.
So why is the tail wagging the dog in relation to results being teleported ? We only seem to get results via NC quarterly updates.
Surly as we own the asset according to AIM rules if any information is available that will have an effect either way on the share price it has to be released.
So why are NC holding back our results ?

We have the news we wanted ( expected) leave the fun and games to the market - have a lie in knowing your investments just took another large step forward - unless of course your trading

My only concern with GGP is that they are not and never have been a cash generative operation in terms of regular income.

Struggling to see the signals

Gut feeling we are now a very different company with all the recent appointments and business work gone on to date . My suspicion is we will no longer be drip fed info on visuals etc to try and prop up the daily/weekly SP.
The company is in a different place from 12 months ago and now has real strategic plan and will no worry about the more day to day short term outlook.
Personally think any drilling info will be far more comprehensive in reporting from now on.
Company feels a lot more corporate and grown up

this board used to be a great source of information and insight now its pailing into a bitch board.
before i get attcked , i have been in GGP since the 0.6 range -probably about 2 years now.I dont post often but find the knowedge and insight very useful and on the back of some very informative posts have made my investemnt decsion.
i would have liked, and hoped the price reflection after newcrest was better but the facts are its going to take a little longer than maybe first antcipated.
im greatful for most information on here with often good research and sound insight-any chance we can revert back?

as a LTH (2 years now - i know some are a lot longer) and observer rather than commentor-hence the few posts-what has changed since yesterday-nothing other than we are 24 hrs closer to results.
I day of red after a wave of blue days and the whole company is front ! really get with it and be patient.

As a non holder with what seems more of an obsession than an interest why not spend some meaningful time researching the company and stop trying to improve your credibility with numerous useless posts to gave the impression you are veteran!
