I'm still comfortable buying at these levels for the long term, as people are always going to need mortgages and there will likely always be lenders willing to make the good money that they make in doing so, I'd hope and am sure there will be a reasonable workaround

I also bought a large number of shares today and yesterday

Looks great from here in the medium term IMO and with thr CMA investigation out the way, that was quite a difficult uncertainty factor on going in heavy here for me, but now I've gone in heavy for the long term

With the profits they should be doibg this year and t he director buying, these look somewhat no-brainer to me at these prices, but the market does always like to surprise

Your comment has a real underlying arrogant theme, that people can't think for themselves and that Reform voters are full of anger, hate and aren't looking at the successful business background of a number of their MP's, while they're stating a number of issues with this degrading Country and economy that are really rather obvious

Greenshaw I don't think basing judgement on merrit as ir used to be many years ago, rather than race and ethnicity, which is how things tend to be these days is a bad thing.

I'm personally ok with legal migration into the UK, as there are decent processes in place before people come here

In my opinion, it's the illegal migration that is the real issue and cost to society through welfare and national security of the UK

Recent statistics show:

- £1 billion per month cost of welfare to foreign nationals

- Almost £6 billion per year on hotels/food/healthcare/cinema trips

- Illegal migrants have been shown to be a net cost to the Tax Payer and the Country of I believe it was around £160,000 over their lifetime, but it was a net cost, not contributor

- Nationals from the predominantly illegal migrant pool of countries have been show to on average, be 6 times more likely to commit crime and sexual offences than a British citizen

It's got silly and the above doesn't exactly paint a good picture for British citizens having children in this coutnry, I know it doesn't for me and my partner

All current Reform MP's have business backgrounds and have been successful in business and business ventures, that's more than can be said for any Labour MP and it shows

We need a Government such as Reform (I hope) to try and bring some better priorities and sort out this unsustainability

GLA and I hope this country starts to get some positivity and common sense back at some point

Yep I've been buying more at these levels, looks good for a recovery.

Interest rates gradually reducing and should see the P/E ratio come down as growth in sales rates looks to be ticking up slightly in certain areas

Nice to see a little director buying and TR-1 of Aberforth Partners LLP buying 6% of the company on the 3rd June when lowest share price was around £3.95

Also after watching a number of investor presentations, the board seem like decent folk to me and have decent knowledge and experience within the sector

As mentioned, should be a decent recovery play IMHO

Hi all

Would appreciate anyone's thoughts on if we could ever test the £4.80ish lows ever again with the run that Phoenix has been on the last number of months and any thoughts on this. I have a decent holding here, but would've loved more at the lower prices, but didn't have enough capital to load up enough at the time :)

Agreed, I've opened a position here at £4.20

It looks great on fundamentals and as other posters have stated, seems to be negatively affected by the oil price.

Considering the results this company has been putting out up to this point, this to me is a very nice opportunity to be loading up

I also believe it will be good for PHP shareholders over the medium to long term.

Think of the kind of monopoly they hold in the private and public healthcare, hospitals and GP Surgeries sector now, very compelling IMHO for the long term

I'll be buying a lot more if this continues to drop :)

Well they already stated in their previous full year results presentation that they expect slightly increased profit for this year (2025) and should start to see more uplift in 2026 financial year, so I've got my eyes more on 2026 numbers and beyond

I agree, I've been loading up on these as much as I can at these levels

If they reach their long term targets (£850m EDITDA) this looks insanely cheap at these levels for the medium to long term

If it drops further I will gladly buy more
