This share has been under the radar for a bloody long time.
It will take a bit of time for the penny to drop. It needs a news story or two and few tweets.

This has derisked massively. Its a keeper.

The war is going to be long and drawn out and I dont think gas prices will be falling anytime soon. The West will be very reluctant to do business with Mr Putin even if the war ends tomorrow.

Getting the gas out the ground this year is quite timely.

Happy to be back in this before the herd arrives.

Still only 10 million GBP ish valuation.

I was holding this for well over a year. Got out at 22 and now had rush back in a 27. Such unlucky timing on the good news dropping.

This is very good news today.

I note Motley Fool has put out a positive note this morning and we had Simply Wall Street say something positive too.

The fundamentals on this company are excellent albeit with a bit of a squeeze recently on margins. Given the falls alot of the issues you can look up under ASOS news could be well priced in.

Looks like improved sentiment going into results and other clothes retailers up too just now.

I was wrong the SP tracking upto Boohoo's percentage gain. ASOS flat into close. Shows how unpredicatable it and shows the two are not quite as correlated as one would think.

Judging by the rise at Boohoo, im expecting quite a strong close today. Maybe 1 or 2 % up from here.

But you are right in it being upredicatable. Lol whi knows next week especially as we move closer to results.

Looks like retail is up today. All moving upwards at once all of a sudden.

Yep the high inflation is having an adverse affect on the customers incomes. If pay was keeping up... would not be so much of a problem. The amount spent on clothes will fall in the UK I reckon as a whole for some months.

Also will be some strain on supply costs too for ASOS and question is how much of that can they pass on.

I note they have unsold stock which would have been sourced a bit cheaper. I note 807 million of inventory as at August 21 so that could be a good thing if its decent stuff. They could flog some of that.

Some will be putting off clothes purchases for a while. That said though, ASOS is a cheap clothes retailers and so the customers who would normally choose to buy more expensive could flock to ASOS.

So ... a challenge yes but I ASOS will be ok.

Could be silly... but I have just placed my SIPP top up into ASOS. Its at a new year to date low... very hard to figure out bottom... but hoping much of the world negativity is already priced in.

I still think long term when things normalise this will back up there and will come good.

Wow. Bought in this morning and asked if i was stupid or brave... Got lucky somehow at 1.2p purchase.

Bet the people that were saying this would go down to. 0. 5p feel rather silly today. Either that or scratching their heads in disbelief.

Derampers... Some also do it if they have burnt by the stock in the past... Or have sold it too cheap. Causes a vitious energy that makes them want to burn those who have benefitted more. And there are trolls.. Those with no wealth as such so like harm thoses with wealth.

But most as you say just wanna buy in cheap. There some do gooders who are convinced of doom and warn others. Just a myriad of reasoning and the frustrating thing is... You dont know their motive

I have also bought in so we are both either brave or stupid.
I do not think there is any hidden motive here. My conclusion is the project was short on time and unfortunate about the equiptment breaking. Its a risky business and these things happen.

We have a highet oil price now then in the summer and we have alot potential in the drilling area. May or may not be a duster. To early to conclude.

This board doesn't know what to think LOL - some saying 50 p - some saying 2 quid settle.

Would be nice to see a good summary of the pros and cons of investing in this company at this time rather than just random SP guesses.

Wilko why would it be back at 0.75p when we have had alot of positive news since then?

Regardless of how it is structured. The outlook is good for this company :-)

The analysts on this board can't reconcile the 49% stake in the company apparently.
I am royally confused I am not gonna lie.

Isn't it profitable again though? I thought that is why it went up. The high interest has been known about a long time right - nothing new
