I bought at 17.5 and feel pretty bad today. Will just have to hope for the longer term.

I do think it has potential which I think is why i'm not selling, but it needs some luck. GLA. I am not watching this anymore.

Will be back at Christmas to see if I have any money left here. Hopefully the drug companies will sort the vaccine as soon as possible so governments can stop trashing the economy.

Wow I thought with JB all sold out the SP would fly past 20. Instead it's gone down... Ouch? I am holding very large losses on paper.

I'm not selling though becuase as far as I can see... Nothing has been released since the results Q1 which paints a poor picture. Which means it can only be pis fearing a poor outcome from the vote (the opposite of where they side) and traders chasing short term rainbows elsewhere until news appears to be on immediate horizon and maybe fear if we are really on target to get through all complaints. ha. It doesn't matter... A chief executive is not as influencial as you think in a big company. It is more about luck and company collective wisdom and skill. Read fooled by randomness which explains this in detail.

This company just needs to get on with things.

Basically he values himself so greatly he thinks the company can only be profitable with him in it.

This is a desperate attempt to take control. Not about money it's about pride and how he started out.
It seems irrational selling for lower than long term worth but it totally makes sense to me. I don't think he has ramped up the share price. He just values himself

I don't care what he does after he has sold if sells all. The fact is he will be out and we can move on with or without him.

No matter what happens when JB stops selling soon it will take alot of pressure off. That is for sure.

If they refuse to pay out they end up paying money anyway if it is taken to the FOS for them to review it. £500 quid per dispute if I'm not mistaken. It makes sense to pay some of the lower value claims regardless to avoid this. That I think if I am not mistaken that is why they pay the claims. It is more cost effective. The customer has nothing to lose and will do it anyway.

I would expect them to challenge higher value claims and I hope they are.

I am holding these shares so not a deramp I just wanted to point this out.

I have decided to go the diy shop and buy some paint and new flooring. I'm gonna sink right into my diy project so I don't feel the urge to watch the SP for a while and hopefully when I'm finished I'll switch on and all will be back to where it was.

Unfortunately Sam Chambers in the Sunday Times cited loss estimates of 25.8 million this year followed by further losses next year.

It's the firm's exposure to department stores and city centres that are to blame.

So quite annoying and I think there are many now questioning a turn around. So annoying as the online business is doing quite well I would imagine.

Just unlucky with this really. Hopefully results will be accompanied with some positivity to get the SP going again

Oh I think so too. The RNS was quite positive and indicates they are strong enough to weather the storm and online sales growing.

Can't buy

The number of posts on here today speaks for it self. Big interest here and I think it will appeal to speculative high risk buyers over the coming days. The extension is the biggest bit of news. It gives the company time which is crucially what it needs. That is why I don't think it would fall a massive amount if JB doesn't end up stearing the ship. Maybe 12 to 13 p with slower rebuild from there.

It is doing it's darndest to build cash and whilst it is still a massive high risk play. Recovery is on possibly and that comes with multi bagging potential. 50 p is not unrealistic within a week or two which is about 5 times lower than it's placing price.

I'm gonna bite my nails in my sleep I think. There is very wide range in SP over the next week.

Chippy I hope you make your money back at the high levels you paid many months ago. Good luck. It could happen... You never know. At least you will get some value paid back to you at the very least. It seems to be on a better path now

I don't think people sell out on Friday. The weekend is when traders and long term holders research. If you are confident in your position you stay in. I would never be out on a weekend unless there was risk of negative press from Sunday papers

I paid 18 and 17.5. so I hold the spike for the day. But happy to be in

The price was 66p at the start of the year and for now they seem to have lowered the insolvency risk right down.

This will go much higher I think
