I can tell you it was the most reassuring AGM I have ever attended. He expects all paperwork to be signed by the end of October.

There is currently a suitable rig in operation just across the border (30 to 40 days from TD) and due to be released towards end of November early December. Once mobilised it could reach us in two or three days however I would allow a fortnight. Caveat being there is no guarantee this is the one, but remember the long lead items are already there and you don't do that without knowing the rig you intend to use. December more likely January for Chikumbi would be my best guess. However once the signings are complete the pipeline can begin along with the existing wells that can be prepared as previously notified.

EVs are definitely not the answer though imo, but they are innovative in a car industry that would have stagnated tech wise without them. Compared to the 70s, cars will almost run forever. They made them too good, which is why they are all massively over priced now, imo.

The race for an all electric future is madness imo, we need to be putting money elsewhere and diversify for a range of power sources
