It wouldn't take much effort to head the bulletin board BS off at the pass. They wouldn't need to read them, just anticipate the reactions of the deviants and not provide them with bullets

If they had any PR sense they would have shown pictures of the repair stages if only to quieten the BS pushers from depressing the value further.

I'm pretty sure there is an awful lot of rubbish being talked. There is no way a rough neck would hang from those two holes and they are in the wrong position to start with. This video shows a roughneck in action and how it swings backwards out of the way and not to the side where those holes are. Imo it is simply in that back position hidden out of sight due to the upright where the holes are.

For once LW we agree however the important piece is the find and in this case a find at a production ready exploration drill means it can be recovered without an appraisal and as an experience old O&G campaigner like you, I think you know that, so it's like me teaching granny to such eggs. 😀

An appraisal drill would no doubt come later to establish the full size of the find to provide a better CPR. and FFD would follow that, so as the point I suspect you are really getting at, is that at some point funding for more drilling would be required. That being the case, you are exactly right, but that is the same for every explorer. However at this stage they have to find it first. Let's look again after that time comes. Hope you have your powder dry, I'm sure you have 🙂

Do you really think adults need or want nannies to tell them how to deal with their own money? I don't, I'm quite content to let them decide for themselves. I've said it often enough this is a win or lose investment at this stage and a small gamble gets a lot of shares.

Success could possibly see a ten bag turning a £100 into £1000. In my eyes if it were to fail I could get out for the price of good night out.

Losing one night out against £1000 that would get me a holiday is worth the gamble for me but it's up to the individual.

Don't worry Turbot LW and his pack are all about character assassination! None of them are able to rationalise an investment from the 'NOW' position and price. I have lost money here and wrote it off, but I reinvested as a separate tranche because I believe there is a chance to make money from these levels. If I lose because the drill fails to produce that's my fault and nobody else's.

Each to their own. Choose to run with it or be frightened of it. All about risk reward.

I see a chance of a short term reward and if that comes through then an almost certain long term reward as FFD will be self funding in a country that desperately wants its own oil.

I could lose some, but I could gain, take out my stake and have a long term free ride.

If they don't RNS at 7am on Monday and the price shoots up we could be looking at a positive intraday call.
