Not been watching this one for long but thinking of adding to my income holdings, anyone any idea how the share price normally reacts after ex div? ie buy now or wait. Any ideas much appreciated

I bought as part of my dividend holdings only to see the price drop by over 50% and dividend payments stopped.I now feel fortunate to have got off so lightly..

Sold mine also today, at a small loss but now any risks removed. Good luck holders.

Gunsup and property 1, many thanks for your thoughts on my question. I sold about 15% of my holding, 2 years worth of divis a while back @ 58p and am now considering my next move. This share has been very good to me with an average of around 40p. Decision decisions.. have a good evening all.

Looks like a base rate cut is on the cards. Any ideas as to whether this will lead to an increase in the Lloyds share price ?

Had £5k invested here @ £60, averaged down when it hit £50 with another £5k. Couldn't resist same again @ £45.12. Average now around £51. Am confident my investment is sound at this level. Have a good weekend all.

I’ve thought of doing the same , been there 2 or 3 times over the last couple of years since my £60 per share purchase and I’ve bottled it each time when FOMO kicked in. Promised myself I would sell next time with a view to buying back in on drop to the £40’s. I will do it next time and wait for Sod’s law to kick in..
