Hottrader the cash position is totally relevant especially considering MDZ's track record, a lack of cash means further dilution which is a non starter at this price which has actually fallen again today. In the short term they are overreaching themselves as I said to generate revenue but have also increased their costs in doing so

The rampfest seems to have subsided now that some reality has crept back in, all the good news is factored into the SP including the profit forecast !

I was looking into what James might be getting paid now he's been appointed as a NED and that must surely be another £30-40K from the bottom line plus his expenses etc, the gravy train hasn't come off the rails just yet. If you add in the increases in salary to Geoff and Lance plus now James you're looking at an extra £60-70K which is more than the last reported £38K cash in hand at the year end, down 76% yoy

They're going to have to run even faster now just to stay still imo

A growing workforce equals more associated costs and lets not forget that Geoff and Lance have already awarded themselves large salary increases for reasons unknown to myself this year, you'll be paying for this if they don't make a profit over the FY !

So you've just posted what the last trading update came out with which is of course different to what you posted. You say they made a profit but the BOD only expects to make a profit, see the difference ?

Even if they do make a profit at the half year, this is still BS as its the finals that really count at the year end, any one with any business acumen will know this and I repeat my point that they have never made a profit in their entire existence as a plc

They do have to generate a profit of course as they can no longer fleece their investors,they will never get a placing away at this price and they know it.

My investment strategy was based on the shorts believing this was purely a grocer, they've been done twice now and I've made a lot of cash winning that bet (who says lightening doesn't strike twice) ?

Whilst the shorts believe they're right I'm quite happy to take their money as the price rises as it has done quite substantially. The trick was getting in when the shares were a quid and then holding your nerve. We now know that Ocado are more than just a grocer, some of the bears have wised up also which is a shame but maybe the falling SP will entice a few mugs back in ?

I heard back in 2012 they were about to breach their banking covenants and I'm still waiting for the day of reckoning, it not going to happen any time soon.

I got out at break even after 4 years, they never deliver, gravy train will keep rolling for the BOD until they go under, at least I can warn off others who think it looks a great investment.

At the end of the day you all make your own choices and you live with that decision
