The Ocado deal will go down well in Oz, mainly because there are only two major players and Coles are well established already in the market playing 2nd fiddle to the market leader Woolworths

Some of the more fervent posters have openly admitted it's just a punt for them and nothing else, I can't see in the current climate how things will change, the company would be better off going private in my opinion as mentioned by Mr Beekeeper in the past, it costs a lot of money being a publicly listed company and on their track record they just can't afford it year on year

When Ocado was small change they didn't bother, Tim wasn't for selling seem to recall, I think Kroger and a few other investors might block it now anyway owning part of the company
