RE: IF ITS A WELL RUN COMPANY WHY...8 Feb 2016 13:19
To generalise the SP would have been a lot higher than it is today if a few more deals had been signed. They haven't materialised so here we are, that doesn't mean that no deals will be forthcoming, if and when they come about confidence returns the SP goes up, we're all happy again. I agree the BOD haven't covered themselves in glory exactly by setting a 2015 deadline here. It would have been more realistic to say by the Summer of 2016 !
You have to understand the dynamics in play as to why the SP got to £6 in the first place, it wasn't down to the fundamentals exactly it was done on the back of the MRW agreement and the subsequent bear capitulation/short squeeze that followed. Once the shorts stopped covering as they'd been wiped out the SP dropped accordingly, back down to £2.33 later that year. Short interest was less than 2% when the SP closed at £6 which confirms what I'm saying.
I don't expect any divi's whilst the company continues to expand, this is a long term play, were only in the second year of their 5 year plan.
Their PR was outsourced but I can't recall whether they knocked this on the head or not. I used to get replies but haven't sent any e-mails lately so not sure of the current situation here?
