Hi agrostis Welcome to the BB I do not think the oil index fall is anything to do with the share price other than the confidence it gives to holders of oil companies to either sell, buy or hold their oil based investments, the sells of 105000 EDG shares in the afternoon is what caused the drop here... EDG only has 170million shares in issue so a minimal trade in shares triggers movement in the SP either way up or down.. If you are not aware secondary trading also takes place on ISDX market shown below which sometimes conseals trades from the main market.....dummy trades also need to be carried out to determine the exact buy/sell price as sometimes buy trades are shown in red if the trade is struck below the mid point of the bid/ask hope that helps. Nice to see you are still confident in this share Korg, I have to say this has been a dog since floating on AIM at 8.25p in August 13 now at 0.575p not 2 years on with Oakhurst gone for not a lot...... but as you say should have legs from here... should being the operative word, the proverbial finger needs to be pulled out, the CEO was not pleased with the SP after my last email to him that was before it fell of the cliff. For me our planning consultants need to be replaced for non performance and the rest need to get the eyes back on the business of selling and building houses while demand is still there.. IMHO, I am still in but very close to the exit for the second time, a shame because the potential is / was good but so badly managed IMHO.

A good reply to e mail from Alex sites are progressing including the Burnside(apartments) and Wellesley road developments, with build progress pictures due to appear from Borough Green on the website, as suspected appeal result is imminent as well as a new site. I reckon he will let one go upon receipt of the planning appeal..

Fired off an e mail to Alex complimenting him on the building update pics at Ticehurst with a reminder that it has been a while since we have heard from him lol..... opium, not sure we have unwanted units for sale, I wish we would start building some instead of faffing around at council planning departments...

Hi Breton the wheels seem to be turning very slowly but Pilticks email reply from the CEO did say end of May for trading update, I would expect it would be at least into next week..... would like to see a more regular progress RNS it would do no harm for us.

xuk post rec'd, Plot11 at Oakhurst was last on the list and a rental would be better than it lying empty however I would rather see it sold......like you I think we should be building what we have full planning for and not messing around with changing the permissions......Iceni projects hmmm. I could be proved wrong but the six apartments at Burnside would create more traffic than 4 houses so therefor should be of more appeal to the council for the 4 house development, nonetheless do what the permission is for to get some progress made.......why did we not apply for 4 houses in the original planning ? or did we ? iceni projects hmmm Sheerness, another £1m++ development no reason not to get on with it unless we can sell it with full planning for a very good profit....very frustrating...

Who cares Drew as long as we are going north.... there is probably a large buy that we don't yet see or know about past trying to figure the way of the mm's now, just means that there is a demand for EDG shares again lol.

Surprised that no trading update has yet arrived, possibly waiting for planning permissions to be clarified prior to an RNS however on the plus side Oakhurst park should have cleared the last of 4 units this quarter and peel cottages near the Bell inn at Ticehurst and the two semis at Borough green should be nearly built. (some feedback from someone in the area would be helpful) Wellesley Road Sheerness was open to contracts and in my view should also be started. Remember that this outfit is a nich'e builder developing upper end houses on small plots on brownfield sites which need permissions in each individual case and is not a mass builder that gets planning permission for 150-200 houses and then builds for 2 years. Hopefully the premium attained in each sale more than covers the time and costs messing about with the various councils. Looking forward to an update soon and waiting patiently IMHO DYOR.

Errr no posts Smidsy what's been happening, seems to be a problem all over Lse. Can't believe the thick end of 500k shares bought today and we are still down nearly 14% must be an MM Funday or an April fool lol.................

swizz, thanks for the snippet, (and Barnpeter) no more than I would expect from the CEO more is usually gleened from a phone conversation as CEO's don't tend to put much down on paper to holders for obvious reasons. It is Mr Johnston who will be suffering most with the SP at this level which is also a small confidence booster for us with him holding so many shares he will be keen to improve it. Planning departments are a nightmare which are always a drag on a house builder and they seem to have bogged us down at Burnside and George Street and last year with the garden spacings at Oakhurst park along with the building firm that went belly up. We have the three developments mentioned to be getting on with while future planning is on going with Iceni taking up the slack I hope he gets these builds completed during the spring/summer months while progressing with the current applications.
