The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Yay! Morning everyone! SP hardly moved an inch.....we're not quite on the wider world's radar yet i don't think! We will be though....
There's only about 4 of us read this board aren't there?? So you all know all about it anyway! :-)
Sorry ;-) 4 good to great RNS's out this morning from my 7 holdings so a bit over excited!! And coffee hasn't yet hit the spot
....was like this one for CBUY we will retire on this share! If the general steady (rapid) progress continues and snowballs we will see some very big profits Well done Ronald and team. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what happens over the next 12 months. Starting to think the £50m figure is a matter of IF, not WHEN, and that it's just a staging post to a higher number. Odds on a Westhouse 100p reiteration today??? :-D
Yes, I am increasingly bullish about this. Things genuinely seem to happening across a diverse range of (mainly government) organisations. See the news yesterday about the £1/4 to £1/2 billion UK government have blown on that IT contract that went wrong? Big cheque books available, and they need to keep costs down. Have to think that getting in through a few doors should make selling to all the other authorities pretty damned easy. "How would you like us to save you £10m Mr NHS trust/local authority? We did exactly that for Mrs authority-next--door" Really should be a snowball effect. So......2 good RNSs this week. SP UNCHANGED! Doh! Oh well the word will get round eventually.... Roll on Thursday's RNS (although as I said once before that is for a time period where we shouldn't actually expect too much as invoices didn't fall into that period. it's the next one in 6 months where the real progress will be reflected IMO....)
we could do a lot worse than invest in LGO..... Tempted to cut my losses here and put it in there, but he could save me the bother!
Yep, can't hurt. Think the fundamentals are more important, but Zak, in my experience, appears to have a good grasp on this techie analysis, which is all gobbledegook to me, but others swear by it, so if that brings in techie buyers then all to the good. Personally looking forward to more contract wins and money coming in, which I think will make his 60p, and even 80p look cheap next year. I think the patience may well start to pay off soon GLA
http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/71199/update-cloudbuy-gaining-traction-in-australia-with-govt-contract-71199.html# All sounds positive to me. I am growing in confidence for us with this share. the highlights for me: -low cost to get the Australia contract up and running. -Deployment will be quick -When asked how confident it would carry on beyond the initial 6 months his answer was "very confident" but more importantly he sounded it.....his tone suggested pretty much no doubt -Getting the first deal done is the trickiest -More things in pipeline in Aus, NZ, Singapore, HK, Africa and Middle East Ultimately CBUY genuinely saves large organisations money. We take a small %age of all transactions at (I think) 90% profit margin eventually. So bigger than Google? No. Massively bigger than we are now? I think so....
.....next week too on 21st, so hopefully they will help fill in the picture a bit more (although we were warned that a lot of invoices would not have fitted into that timeframe, so we shouldn't expect too much. Similar to last year.... Roll on 6 months' time....think we could have a different level by then
reacting very well....let's hope it holds Expecting Westhouse to come up with another rating today. My bet's on 100p!!
Can't be bad news.....a genuine contract with a government £500k per annum with potential to rise to £4m (maximum) Several other similar contracts in the pipeline Not sure it's a game-changer, but it's certainly a start....

.....understandable, but not necessarily that helpful. Am I right in saying that at this SP our MC is about £1m, or a I missing something? We bought assets for £780k recently and have (from memory) another £1m in the bank? I could be totally wrong but doesn't that mean our assets our worth more than our SP? If I've made an obvious mistake, apologies, I can't be bothered checking my if memory is serving me right as I'm not selling or buying more and only hold £2k's worth now (down from £6k starting point!)
Sounds like good news. Look forward to hearing more. What is this likely to be worth to us etc? Again no numbers, but again steps in the right direction. Our patience will pay off eventually
Thank you Antony.
Ok. Someone has to ask...... What are you talking about???? :-)
See they've been working hard again to come up with another well-thought-through rating!
Albeit vague ones!. -Up to £1m a year each from 90 undecided local authorities. -5 million potential customers at £60 a year OK, so there is a lot of potential. Just need to find out what "up to £1m" turns out to be, how many of the 90 come on board, and how many of the 5 million! So daily I don't think there's much new except growing confidence that £50m pa is going to happen. at 90% margin any thoughts on what should make the MCAP? And then it's a matter of how far can it go beyond then? Patience still required I think....
Nice of Ronald to give us no reason whatsoever to log into our computers, when the sun is shining and we have much better things to do. And nice of the market not to buy or sell any of our shares so that we can comfortably switch off until October after our Indian summer and come back to the SP unchanged! Ooh...Indian summer.....hope that proves to have a double meaning! :-)
That'll be the wrong board then on 2 counts. One this is CBUY, not CTP Two, if you're trying to ramp an OT share suggest you go for a board where there are more than 3 readers!
