Thanks Bear looks like Harry is gradually realizing that we have a gold price that is likely to go higher with projects that are economic on a much lower gold price and kefi might get "consolidated". Think it could turn out more complicated than it seems FC as the OLF is not blaming the government yet and Jaal Maroo was more restrained than you would expect. Could be as the bbc says or a family dispute or infighting between the olf and ola or within those groups or someone that wanted to stop peace talks. From what i see kefi should be able to put in a claim for any work done in JQ north and south East the central area I don’t know depends what Is meant be re-issuance and renewal.

One difference is gold now listed as one of the minerals (see previous links for details) maybe they are suggesting that JQ does not qualify might depend on whether in the fine print. Does the licence count as belonging to kefi from when it was originally given or when kefi effectively got it back which covered a bigger area than originally.

That’s ok SB but likely to be irrelevant why I post here as soon not going to be able to that often as it simply takes too much time and energy. Apart from following what the gold price is likely to do you have the Saudi mining sector taking off in big way which means the news there is constantly expanding and on top of that kefi being in Ethiopia means you have whole African mining angle. I could probably research about eight mining stocks in the time it takes to research kefi or just research gold in a tiny fraction of the time.

Will try to hold on till second bank sign off or kefi takeover or JQ DFS or even bigger gold price breakout some turning point after which its going to be pretty irrelevant what anyone says but if a job offer pops up will have to concentrate on that and maybe pop occasionally back to see how rich everyone is ;)

Hi SB not paid to post been invested since kefi went into Saudi and was I think the first first person to call for Harry to step down and probably annoyed him a couple of times over the years once when I highlighted the Amak listing and probably several times when I have highlighted the potential of a Saudi listing . Already mentioned in a recent post I will have to either stop or severely cut back on the amount of posting I will due to other commitments as I have no choice. All this is public knowledge for a lot of the old timers.

As for commercial gain i could have made more money by playing the game of bigging up kefi one day and trashing it other days like other posters here hell i could have just stepped back and not posted a couple of times let the share tank when it was under concerted attack by the usual suspects then bought in when it bottomed then counter attacked. Also could have made more money by just selling up kefi and speculating on the gold price which I have called correctly for a long time now. Anyone can see from my posting history I have not done any of that.

As for the forensic nature of my posting I am an old style research based investor which I guess makes me a bit of a dinosaur when the trend is just to trade the sentiment and who cares about any of the actual facts. Guess my main motivation for posting is to actually see other kefi investors make some money though that might seem blasphemous when the game is to make as much money as you can and stuff everyone else.

While Harry never going to be the next Elon musk he does not have to be. Break even at TK is 1312 at a price of 2150 you get all the moans over why it has taken so long but four or five years ago kefi was trying to get things going with a gold price at 12 13 hundred though the cost would have a bit lower you are looking a multiple of the profit margin it was previously just on TK on the gold price as it is now let alone the future and JQ going into production.
