I am just annoyed as anyone else SB over the recent placing and can see where you are coming from as it seems to me the company were caught out and had to do a quick placing to tide them over till TK launch. By getting caught out they lost the momentum that was building extra annoying.

If they had been a bit more on the ball or if they had sourced Saudi money or if they had not made some mistakes in the past or if the had been better at promoting the company so cash raising were less dilutive and common..

It is what it is though and Kefi have three main projects one gold project hopefully on the verge of launching and another not massively behind it in a much easier jurisdiction with a gold price now around 2200 dollars an ounce and a market Cap of a small exploration company that has not found anything.

Smelly its only a week ago that they said they are funding Ethiopia and Saudi regionally and these mining conferences are planned months in advance so unlikely they are going for any Swiss deal.

No have army troops near and not paying anything like that and the best security is that the locals want this to go ahead.

The big news today in Ethiopia is two rebel Fano commanders being killed which is pretty irrelevant to kefi but still several orders of magnitude more important to kefi than this news.

Community and Physical Preparations

Whilst we await the drawdown of the US$320 million Project funding, KEFI has started the requisite low-cost launch-preparations to enable the Project to move forward safely and efficiently. These include:

• Personnel being dispatched into the field to brief the community and carry out required site works;

• Dismantling the old exploration camp (on the planned open pit) and installing new communication and staging bases along our transport route as part of the upgrading of safety systems; and

• Works by contractors. including:

o process-plant contractor completing Front End Engineering and Design;

o mining contractor establishing its local corporate entity and clearing its work rosters with the department of labour;

o electricity contractor procuring all (and taken delivery of most) of the equipment required for connection to the mains grid; and

o road contractor completing upgrades to some bridges on existing routes, as well as the surveys of the new additional all-weather access road.

Nick E Think Saudi will surprise people and listing looks inevitable to me if they want to exploit all the license areas they have in Saudi even with the Saudis chucking money at mining companies to make it easier for them.

Also the advantage of going the Saudi route is now they are investing in mining projects outside the country so the potential is there to get the Ethiopian side funded with Saudi money as well.

SB your 8.01 post, actually started looking for a job recently a little work from home research job would suit me. Its funny that people think I am on Harrys Christmas card list when all the time I have posted on kefi never got as much as an email from him.

What would nice just being paid a few pennies from say a firm like Ivanhoe Electric (as I like their style) to research developments in Saudi and the region and just not post on the bulletin boards at all.

Obviously everyone here would be upset if I stopped posting but think they would get over it 😉

Probably more to do with being in two places at once but nothing wrong with other people from kefi doing presentations.

Patrick Chidley, International Investor Relations KEFI, will be presenting to investors at the Swiss Mining Institute investment conference..Not Harry.

Kefi does mention talking to regional investors as well and does have big copper prospects and if Saudi is interested in Lithium kefi has applied for couple of licence areas in Ethiopia.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and Ministry of Investment have launched a new incentive package of 685 million Saudi riyals ($182 million) to drive mining exploration in the Kingdom.

The incentives will advance geological knowledge, identify unexplored mineral resources and develop local exploration skills, state-owned SPA reported, citing a joint ministry statement.

The newly introduced incentives also include support for companies holding valid exploration licenses for less than five years, each eligible for up to SAR 7.5 million.

The statement added that companies could obtain support for up to 15 licenses, subject to the programme’s terms and conditions.

Post on advfn and lse boards the advfn boards are not as active as they used to be. Do not post on the telegram boards or other kefi places or boards where its possible to do so. I am hardily unique here in posting in more than one place. Getting back to the actual subject Harry has put a lot of his eggs in one basket though the company itself has multiple projects.

Your talking about someone that takes kefi shares rather than cash as they are so confident and thinks that company is undervalued and would have to have broken the law by not reporting a trade. All this with nothing to support the theory.
