Had several factors that changed the game that meant it made sense to hold onto Suadi for now we knew that Saudi could worth hundreds of millions if further along what we did not know was the level institutional interest, that Artar could be open to an ipo or we could get enough money for TK without robbing Saudi sale proceeds. The counter argument holds less water now as some of those costs are recoverable a large chunk will be in safe hands and it will help institutional investment.

Alanos maybe if some matters can be cleared up by Harry and the company any shareholder revolt can be avoided i think its up to Harry and the company and his response. I see everything I mentioned in my post as doable and a compromise really.

Maybe clear up if anyone at kefi has is benefiting directly or indirectly from these consultancy fees and have an AGM in London confirmed.

If the consultancy fees have been paid out largely to break a logjam with lobbying over AFC ratification and to get TK over the line at least we are getting something for our money. It’s a different case if someone is being paid effectively several times for the same work inside the company.

While it might be bit tricky to lay out the case for holding onto Saudi in part or whole temporarily or permanently while in the midst of negotiations Harry can do better job explaining than he has done. No point doing an big interview with too much waffle and a history of Ethiopia any details tend to get lost.

Agree could do with UK shareholder rep on the board especially as the company will likely be listing elsewhere at least it would improve communication which can be dire.

It will get done because Ethiopian needs a mining industry and everyone is pushing to get it done even those that were dragging their feet before Bonkers. As for Harry he has hinted at stepping back and he is at retirement age so that problem will solve itself but he is hardily going to retire before TK full launch he is going to want his moment of glory.

kefi not going to have the spectre of a placement hanging over kefi at launch everyone is pushing to get this done and the situation with Saudi will get resolved probably with most or all of it being sold at a higher price than if it was sold a few weeks ago. If it is not it will be because kefi has JVed with one of those billion cap companies Harry mentioned in the assay bit.

The environment is changing around mining with the penny dropping that you actually do need minerals and gold most of all.

Crazy my take is that kefi changed their minds over the last few weeks due to a contractor getting on board with some cash to help with early TK costs coupled with offers that were less than Saudi was worth. It looks like if the facts change I can change my mind.

You are contradicting yourself crazy on the one hand you say the company has no intention of selling Saudi on the other you say they cannot afford to keep it on. From what i can see they cannot afford to keep Hawiah long term as it will be a massive project without diverting money from Ethiopia but they can afford to keep JQ. Kefi are going to know what the can keep and what they have to sell as they will have an insight to the level of interest some of it very recent.

I can probably make a London AGM dependent on time but that's assuming the AGM is held in London maybe get a commitment to that first from the company.

What's hurt the company has been Harrys lose of objectivity over Ethiopia his falling in love with the country. GMCO bit could be worth the $200 million if you added JQ production with added discoveries and expansion added to Hawiah being sold for a decent amount. Not that I am disagreeing Harrys made a pigs ear of things.

Need to move on the ERNs and Ethiopian listing as fast as possible still think Hawiah will be sold whatever happens with JQ. That way project more Ethiopian and have access to funds. Maybe we need to start barking!
