Playtime I totally agree with your 20.51pm post last night. I too am 99.5% down on my investment and I also blame myself for believing in AB. I used to wonder whether AB was just unlucky but time tells us he is incapable of completing a good deal for shareholders. Whatever happens here my money is lost and will never return. What annoys me is that AB has been allowed to claim a good salary plus bonuses, free shares etc. whilst in charge. He should have been thrown out years ago. I do not think any replacement could have fared worse. Truly shocking.
Banburyboy I think you have got Helpful on the ropes. You are slowly but surely backing him into a corner and one can usually tell when this happens because he starts personal insults against anyone that does that. If people thought we were in a good place there would be lots more buying. I really hope just one project comes good soon but there is not much confidence around at the moment me thinks.
Banburyboy I have to admit whenever you challenge the Company specifically on an issue ( particularly facts on whether the money has been spent wisely or on costs or strategy ), his adviser Helpful goes into silence mode. If I had his knowledge surrounding the company that he obviously has then I would challenge you to the end of the earth but he chooses not to.
Was reading the Juno spin from Helpful and half way through I was thinking maybe our royalty may be worth money soon. But oh no always delays with everything AB gets involved in. Never money in the bank today and with gold prices high you would think even AB would be able to sell some gold assets at this point in time.
News I thought your 14.38 posting was a thoughtful response. I may well have thought like that years ago. In fact I did believe in RRR then but for my support I have been well shafted. I have no way of getting those losses back but I am not bothered either. All that matters at my age (71) is health but I now know that there are lots of charlatans about and some of them run small cap companies so we must be alert to their games. Cheers.
News I certainly am not an expert on strategy but it does seem that we have lots of projects on the go that need money to progress them but we cannot raise enough money to go round. These projects may all in the future turn out to be money spinners but we only have limited resources. The problem also is that long term shareholders have been heavily diluted so they will think twice about further investments here together with lack of trust in what the Company says. Now the person to blame for where we are today rests with AB. He has seen all this coming but has not had a strategy to conserve cash but has simply ploughed on regardless. I personally thought he gambled too much on getting the Congo cash and he has boxed himself into a corner. We are in a weak position now and people usually take advantage of you at such times. We shall see.
Helpful I have just read your 7.18am post of today and notice there are people who disagree with you but you do give as much as you take so that's o.k. But the post from Banburyboy suggests we will need 182 wash plants to achieve the 1000 tonne throughput. Could you kindly make a further post clearly explaining the confusion over these numbers. If someone was questioning my numbers I would feel obliged to clear up the matter asap. Thanks.
The problem I have with AB is that he never actually achieves anything re Company profitability. In his latest interview he uses words like " We will pull ourselves up by our boot laces" . Really? And when asked about costs to be incurred during the initial run up to June in BK he smugly says " where funds are required our partner will send money without question" Really.
Helpful it would be lovely ( and of course long overdue ) if we could make serious money in BK. What concerns me is in such a Country as BK, what are the chances of it being stolen or us being prevented from achieving our goals especially if it turns out a real money spinner. So I will not be counting my chickens just yet.
Banburyboy I know rich people do not give their money away but I thought that maybe Lenigas might have lent us the money to avoid the last placing. Seems no one believes in our potential.
