Another who is looking at ammonia in a big way, yet this play has mines - iron ore and other assets which are not a play on hydrogen so can influence the price ? A good view of a company changing tack towards becoming a more hydrogen based play.
NEL with the Yara International Ferterlizer company have a direct route to ammonia without all the other stuff thrown on top. Still interesting to compare.

HYDROGEN.
"Fertilizer giant Yara is holding an ESG investor seminar on Monday. One of the main pillars of the presentation is of course the major topic of "green" hydrogen. Yara is already working with the electrolysis specialist Nel in this area - and the partnership could soon intensify. As Yara announced at the beginning of the week, the company is planning a "green" ammonia production of 500,000 tons per year in Norway. "Ammonia is the most promising hydrogen carrier and zero carbon marine fuel and Yara is the global ammonia champion, a leader in manufacturing, logistics and trading. I am pleased to announce that a large-scale green ammonia project is possible in Norway where we have ours Fully electrify the ammonia plant in Porsgrunn, "says Yara CEO Svein Tore Holsether."

Quiet as a mouse ... Ssssh doing not just talking for PR purposes. Follow the money. Ammonia. See how many times NEL gets a little mention right at the end of reports. I will say that as hydrogen is beginning to move fast , so this new push to refucing CO2 , Ammonia being a big problem, this push will focus on not just the removal of CO2% but also it will be a fuel in itself. DYOR but the talk is growing that ammonia green hydrogen will not only feed the world as soils degrade through global warming but is the next LNG fuel for long distance travel and long period energy supply. I would rec you start with looking at Japan for a hint at what is coming. Satpro, you asked what may be a good up and coming play ? Well this is a new industrial fuel for shipping which needs vast amounts of it. The potential for NEL his right there, but I would say currently 3-4% of NEL's price takes any of this in to account. Give it 5 years and this feedstock for hydrogen could add x10+ of NEL's hydrogen network.
Please please do not invest unless you have done your own research in to ammonia. I give no investment advice just the potential I currently read about.
Hi sharpeye. A 18-24 month hold, diversify , Piedmont Lithium. Only US actual spodumene mine, used to supply all america with tin ( byproduct which will be sold to fund the mining here ). Dropped a bit from tesla investment, so a good entry point. It is a HOLD though. No quick trade and it will have downs on sp as it is a mine, most mines do lol.
See any drops as buying times. Trust me on that. I know the history of this mine
Year highs coming , another good sign.
Excited about the December launch of Toyota Motor Corporation’s new #Mirai? It’s great to see more #zeroemission #hydrogen vehicles hitting the market! And we’re looking forward to seeing them refuelling at Iwatani Corporation of America’s upcoming stations (with our H2Station™ modules!) in California.

Isn't Heroya where NEL's fully automated factory opens next year producing 160+ Hydrogen Electrolysers Per DAY ?
"Ammonia is the most promising hydrogen carrier and an emission-free fuel for shipping. Yara is a world leader in the production, logistics and trade of ammonia. A full-scale project for green ammonia is possible in Norway, by electrifying our ammonia factory on Herøya, says Svein Tore Holsether, CEO of Yara."

Interesting post and interesting that nel have contracts with 4 of the big guys.
Looking forward to itm sp expansion on news of any other deals.
Shell, Toyota Nel Hydrogen USA stations moving forward.
I wonder what the global implications are for Nel when working with 2 Giants in hydrogen mobility.
Certainly for Shell and Toyota to scale up fuelling stations they will need to buy electrolyser capacity or partner up with a company who can produce 250 Hydrogen Electrolysers per day !!! Oh, NEL will be able to by Q2 21 @@ well how fortune and lucky for Shell and Toyota ?
I wonder if the NEL owned Wallingford USA Electrolyser Plant will be expanded or revamped to cope with demand?
Currently supplied over 3,000+ units.
