58 Siemens Gamesa 8.4 MW turbines, 55 of which are now in place. This is according to social media posts from Aspiravi, one of the project owners, which also said 52 of the installed wind turbines were producing power.

"Siemens Energy UK&I head of transmission solutions Mark Pilling said: “Viking Link will play a vital role in the UK’s future energy system allowing the transmission of power with Denmark.
“This will enable further decarbonisation of the UK’s electricity supplies and help reach net zero.
“This next stage of construction will see the heart of the project begin to take shape, with the converter station housing the equipment needed to transmit this power safely and efficiently.”
Viking Link is a joint venture between National Grid Ventures, part of National Grid, and the Danish electricity system owner and operator Energinet."
"Lincolnshire for National Grid's 1400MW Viking Link, which will allow the transfer of clean power between the UK and Denmark."

HYDROGEN"1400MW Viking Link, which will allow the transfer of clean power between the UK and Denmark."
Meanwhile, developer ERM is working with hydrogen specialist NEL and South Korean technology conglomerate Doosan on its Dolphyn project in Scotland, planned on floating wind turbines off the coast of Kincardine, with the goal of having a 400-turbine field with a capacity of 4GW by 2032. A 2MW prototype is planned for 2024, followed by a 10MW full-scale pre-commercial facility for 2027."

1T HYDROGEN PER DAY from mid 2021. Amazing and from only the initial opening 500mw. Expansion to 2GW @@
"36,640 electrode plates every 24 hours, which is equivalent to 160 electrolysers providing 1 tonne of hydrogen, which in turn is equivalent to 2.2 MW each. Electrode plates are sent straight out to customers, together with a diaphragm that they buy. And the electrolysers are installed on site on customers’ premises."
"largest green hydrogen complex for industrial use in Europe, which will be operational in just one year in Puertollano, thanks to an investment of €150 million. The project will consist of a 100 MW photovoltaic solar plant, a lithium-ion battery system with a storage capacity of 20 MWh and one of the largest electrolytic hydrogen production systems (20 MW). For this project, Iberdrola has selected Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser, a division of Nel ASA, as the preferred supplier for the construction of the hydrogen production facility."
"Iberdrola and Fertiberia are planning to have enough electrolyzer capacity to produce 800 MW of green hydrogen in four phases, at the Fertiberia plants in Puertollano (Ciudad Real) and Palos de la Frontera (Huelva), by 2027. The initiative represents an investment of €1.8 billion million in the next seven years. The project's green hydrogen production capacity would be equivalent to 20% of the national plan – which provides for the installation of 4 GW by 2030."

HYDROGEN HEXAGON - On year highs for the 2nd day on Olso Bors
News very soon.
New agreement to push on with truck development of hydrogen & battery. Still great for NEL as they are still producing trucks that need NEL's refuelling technology, so it is only GM & Nikola discussing not to make a Badger pick up and Nikola shares do not get watered down by GM taking 11%. This should put pressure in Nikola now to pick up development and get to production asap. Ground already broken on factory. Musk did it, eventually, I see no reason why hydrogen will not be helped and pushed out faster this time due to US getting rid of fossil fuel loving Trump and to a pro environment Biden ?
Deal still being done. Anyway Plan B involves Hexagon if needed, a NEL partner :-)

"As previously stated, Nikola remains committed to announcing a hydrogen station collaboration by the end of 2020, and expects to begin testing of its FCEV beta prototypes in the first half of 2022."

"Nikola’s grant was given by the US Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Transportation Office, as part of the recently announced FY19 Commercial Trucks and Off-Road Applications FOA. NEL Hydrogen of Oslo, Nikola’s hydrogen partner, was also awarded a $2 million grant by the DoE. "
The award for Nel is to become a fuel cell refueller and provide new developmenrs as an adition to the current supply agreement for Nikola when they begin to test their trucks.

Hexagon had a rise above year highs today along with NEL.
Nikola Corp deal for feulling stations stands as NEL supply the electrolysers and GM are still in for building ALL the HGV Trucks just not the Badger pick up. No big deal. The trucks are the fuel eaters and Nikola GM need the HGV hydrogen to be pan US.
All good here. If Hexagon get any sniff of any contract with Nikola or GM then watch this space.
News on the fuelling stations before year end, hopefully the MoU signed today by GM Nikola will let the news start to flow.
"If GM fo not come to the party then Nikola already have Bosch, Romeo Power / RMG backing to go to production.
Interesting a deal Romeo have just cut ...

Does it not say a company of "HEXAGON COMPOSITES"?
Told you all yesterday both Nel & Hexagon move in tandem and even the timing of the daily markets, most of the time.
Gotta say - BLOODY HELL @@. BRILLIANT.
So even if GM drop out from Nikola deal, we probably get Hexagon Composites subsidy company with all the ex tesla guys to come onboard. Surely a whoop whoop moment ?
These guys are Ex Tesla."
"DETROIT (Reuters) - General Motors Co and Nikola Corp on Monday announced a reworked agreement on a fuel-cell partnership that eliminates an equity stake in the startup for the Detroit automaker as well as plans for building Nikola’s electric pickup truck, sending Nikola shares tumbling more than 24%."
So GM will not be making the Nikola Badger - no effect on Nel.
No investment in to Nikola Corp , does effect Nikola in respect of funding, however as previously posted Plan B has already been worked on.
Romeo Power and Hexagon Composites with the US NY funding group behind them.
Weird that as Nikola on their own press release say the opposite ?
