I wouldn't be surprised if it delists next having got as much investment from the UK as was ever likely.
well i've sold half my imb and bought more glen. so expect a rise in the former and decline in the latter!
looking at the long term chart glen has done better than imb. i'm thinking the need for copper etc won't go away but the need for ***s might.
It seems there are buybacks all over the shop in an attempt to prevent any further sp falls and/or to reduce dividend payout amounts.
Looks to me like the SVB-induced drop last month has reset everything at a lower level. Can't see much hope of any substantial recovery. I also bet that the interest rates will now remain at the 5% or so level and that this isn't temporary either.
All we can do is rake in the dividends.
As I said recently this has been much overhyped and we are seeing the reality/difficulties. Just to have to hope for some sort of change in fortune I suppose.
Looks like 120 is the limit. I'm skeptical about any re-rating back above that. Not selling at a loss though.
I find that if i sell a stock it then climbs away and goes higher.
If I wait to buy then ditto.
If I buy it goes lower.
If I wait to sell then ditto.
Quite amazing really. So all options I find turn out negative. The laws of chance don't even come into play.
This proves that it's impossible to time the market.
Having said that you'd think BP must go back above 5 again - surely? The reason it will I think is that I have no more money to top up.
Well we seem to be on a steady climb. Oh what have I said - the market will now crash!
I bought yesterday pm so of course the markets are lower today. As they said in Snatch of course effing of course.
Barring the French and maybe other european strikes over the summer I'm hoping this doesn't fall back to <=400.
Being -20%+ on any stock is a standard result for me, however.
Buys exceed sells but I've never really understood these stats and off the book trades and all that.
I'm thinking all the while I hold on it'll just end up worthless. At least as far as the AIM listing sp is concerned.
Maybe becuase the yield is quite low and the PE is quite high. I dunno. Less energy used in summer.
A good update - so why hasn't the sp fallen like many other shares?!
The obvious market reaction to a good update is of course for the sp to fall.
