On a monthly EU chart, one can see we are at 50% FIB retracement of 2001 low to 2008 high, suggesting we should start to go up.

Am I crazy to place an order to short DOW at 12990 and stop loss 13070 again! Any thoughts?

Thanks Dev - yes closed, not convinced will break much lower today - as may be more fun and games. Have to remember sometimes to read the charts and not trade what I think will happen!!! The problem is I cannot see the world doing well ....

BUT, on the other hand S - your move might be inspired genius based on overstretching from the MAs - and a small pull back before another push down later. Good luck mate. Also, USD basket under daily pivot, and don't see if breaking that on 1st try.

S - good luck - but fear we are now heading for Weekly Pivot at 12248 and then onwards to 12230 - but with your farming strategy am sure will come good some time!

HI Dev - its very tricky today and yesterday. I like skier also got caught out on some indices shorts yesterday - so this is my plan for recovery. I'm really not sure if we are short or long on EU today - very tricky. Thanks S for the comments - ttfp is very true.

Morning guys - yes - very strange day yesterday. Tempted on shorts on EU this am, but not certain .... these yanks causing problems ....

DAX and DOW both bounced off pivot - very slow today.

Hi people - yesterday I noticed that the USD basket on IG index was almost the same as on MT4/5 - which I had never seen before - as IG index is normally 20-25 pis off the true USD basket price. This is significant - as when one gets excited about the 8300 level on IG Index, one normally has to calm down and realise it is only 8300 on IT finance charts (i.e. IG). This morning, I am seeing a 12 pip difference - has anyone else noticed this - or is just me slowly going mad *&*&*&*&*& ! Where is it you all look at the USD index (excluding IG)?
