Can still find no reason

It was holding quite well, and last 2 days falling - and can't find any reason why. Any comments greatly appreciated, Rob

for first time in ages. Not sure why - as its been holding firm for weeks. Hopefully breaking out now. Can't see that anything has changed?

Anyone have a view on this - as been recommended by many - but fairly volatile now.

Took this from KDD board, as personally still believe GEMD good buy - as tipped by many "From today's Times: .... Gem Diamonds also lost ground, falling 8¼p to 232p, despite reporting a strong rebound in the diamond market with prices improving substantially in the fourth quarter compared with the third."

I've opened longs on this, as believe firmly will reach £3 this year. Hang in there everyone.

When will this stop... I know this has wild movements each day - but this is the biggest drop in a while now.

Any ideas?

Tonymcd - thanks for the updates - and especially the results link - as would have missed otherwise. Have held since mid-August - some at 32, and some at 37 - but long term everything seems good. Don't know why results not posted on Share News link above.

Half year results are due on the 26th August

Is it just a tree shake by the MMs or is there another reason for the fall?

Many thanks - no offence taken. I have done my research as best I can - but any other views always help reinforce / oppose this. I have learnt to research more before buying after being burnt in the past - and almost got in at 1.98 but did not get in until 2.37 as did not know enough (but no regrets as wanted confirmation was sustainable increase). Conclusion, even with extensive research - realise all shares can go up or down for no reason, but long term I agree safe option - question is whether I am too impatient! All the best, Rob N.B. Many thanks - I agere the finance factor is a major factor. I am unsure whether to tie up more funds here in the short term or try elsewhere. Clearly no one knows, but in your opinion, assuming the markets are healthy in general do you consider it will continue to rise next week?

Many thanks - do you think it will keep rising before this date? What do you think is the potential peak? My concern is that I don't think the historic highs of £11.60 are achievable given the dilution of shares on 01Apr09 with the addition of 75,000,000 new shares. I'm very new to this share - adn regret not finding before. I see that you are on timer on this baord, and would value your expertise - as am unsure whether it is nearly almost at its peak given the dilution - is the new peak £4 as fjp73 suggests. Agree entirely - is now rising as FTSE100 rises. So when FTSE 100 back up, will stabilise at 63 / 64
