Elroy- may I was what time frame you are using for your EMAs of 5,8 and 13? (Still cleaning my desk of some issues - so not really trading for next few days - as decided I want to devote 06:00 to 10 to Trading each day and should be able to do this permanently from Thursday at the latest). Well done to everyone on their trades this am.

A little gutted S/elroy - as clearly should have held as clould have closed for over 50 pips - oh well - another day!!! I think confidence is back this am until News!

Thanks S - closed at 5414 in profit - as was a bit scary when went down to 82 - really want to concentrate on DAX + EU each day - as know you are the EU expert - but sometimes I feel it is really tricky to trade - and DAX and DOW are incredible (prefer DAX myself)

DAX - was a bit premaature it seems - but still holding above SL of 77- we will see!

All well Elroy thanks - dropped you an email the other day - not sure if you saw it. Just gone long DAX at 5405- hoping for a bounce above 5400 level.

Jona - very useful analysis - like you overall loss for the day - after being up, as got direction wrong on EU. Wish I had traded Indices earlier, as DAX move up was quite smooth.

Agree completely - could have had 90 to 30 - say 30-35 pips and back down to 10 (another 15) as bouncing nicely off 1 min 60 MA on USD basket chart today (although dangerous chart to use as such a small time frame)! Just need to take the plunge!

Moring S - Hoping to from today yes - there are too many good opportunities out there it seems - hoping to grab a big move, - but like you - lots of little moves all add up.

Morning S - just closed a cheeky long of 1.39566 for 18 pips as EU always seems to halt at 95/90 area and match a nice bounce down for USD basket. Should have held as still going!

Elroy - welcome back - glad to see that you are nearly all settled in now. Re today - it is a great example of how true the phrase "nothing ventured - nothing gained" is in relation to trading. I glanced up at my MT4 late this morning - and saw how the DOW had bounced off 11,200 so nicely - and that this was matched by a key moving average (the 4hr 20) which always helps - and either should have been in from earlier (if I had been around) or at last got in again on the next retace to the Moving averages at around 11,230! Therefore, whilst kicking myself - realise better get back in the game - as nothing ventured - nothing gained!

Hi Jona - all is well thanks. Not traded this week, and traded very little last week, but hope to go mad (!) from next week, as everyone now back from all their holidays so volumes should be higher. Like the target - as in the past I used to meet my target and then increase it - and then lose it all due to over confidence! So now also have a smaller target - agree 30-50 is a good range until meeting it consistently. Re Andrews piutchfork - apologies for my ignorance - but where can I see the 3 lines on the charts - or do you mean you drew on - but did not post the 3 lines? Thanks, Rob

Jona - your chart looks very good - and the logic behing it is sound in my opinion - although beware no guarantee will rise significantly and change direction - as could be classified as simply a pullback. Apologes for not posting - as been out at meetings for most of week, and got up very late today - will try and post more next week, as out of office all day Friday, and have meetings for most of today / tomorrow - but should return to more trading next week !! S - re USD - seems to be finding support at 7420 on IG. The daily MA is at approx 74.10 - so expect support there if stays above Daily MA
