Bad day so far . A couple of million sales at 0.54 , yikes. Good news is that Allenby managed to get a placing away for Fab at only a 6% discount today, so 0.5p placing may be possible 🤔

Yes, for the sake of the existing shareholders, I hope it is. However, in order to get the placing away it is likely to be at a good discount to the current price. You saw the 325000was raised at 1.1p when the current price was just under 2p. The RNs said the shares were placed with a single investor but there was no TR 1 issued which suggests they were placed with a broker who immediately sold them on. So draw your own conclusions at what price they will be placed but if I was a betting man i would bet on some price below 0.5p . As they say DYOR

I invested here a few months back on the back of the growth story. If it works it will propel the shares much higher in value than they are today. Unfortunately, at best it has stalled as the calcs for the growth plan appear to has underestimated the cost of getting into the new areas they identified. The 325000 raise was to keep the lights on whilst they organise a more serious placing on or after 20th feb. No doubt Allenby brokers will get the placing away but the cost to existing shareholders will be high. For my sins I follow Fusion Antibodies (fab) and Allenby did their placing in May 2023 . Prior to the placing the shares were around 36p and their placing was at 5p . I hope and pray it's not going to be that drastic , but if the co were doing well the 325 k would have been raised at 2p or above. So based on that kind of scenario, any placing will have to be well below 0.5p . DYOR

My take on this is that having got funds in mid 2023, they have gone for growth in a big way, but underestimated the requirement for additional money for achieving the growth. I think they have effectively run out of money again like they did in early 2023. They had to stop production in first part of 2023. If that is the situation then he is going to have difficulty asking new investors for money having miscalc the requirements for growth. Burt's credibility may be shot 🤔

I feel for those shareholders that have fallen in love with this company.

It is difficult to see how the company gets out of this without a large dilution of the existing shareholders. The company had difficulty raising money last year but did so eventually (2.2 m) by issuing CLN (convert 2025). Most of that money will be gone now as they were losing 3 mill a year. The 300000 raised at 1,1p will keep the lights on for another month and half. Whether they can get a placing away in time is debatable and at what cost to the existing shareholders. As I say very difficult situation.

I totally agree with your sentiment. I have previously said the same. Why anyone would buy knowing there is a placing incoming beggars belief. You may get diluted to hell. It is heading nowhere at the moment.

It's a shame about the situation. It could have been the Fever tree of the Far East & America. Now they are back to square one. If they survive, then it might be a good investment at 0.25p providing they can raise a sensible amount that could get them to profitability. Only time will tell.

Dan, the way the co have treated their existing shareholders, I will be surprised if they can get a placing away at 0.25p.

Yes, I think I would want my money back. There may be a bounce from here but short term this is a disaster.

Can't see fever tree buying here. Assuming they are interested in East Imp, they could probably pick up the name etc for a few 100000's once they bite the dust . No need to pay any premium for them.

As I have already said to Toplocks, this feels like it is heading for 0.5p before consolidating, maybe even less . Should have sold at 1p 🤔

you shouldn't fall in love with a share . the directors don't give a **** about you really, they will always find another job if the current one goes tits up. you just end up losing all your money 🤔

Hi Toplocks. I am always looking at my portfolio and for every share I am always asking myself whether I feel it will go up or down. This is heading south at the moment, so why don't you sell all your holding then re-visit in say 6 months. If it's dropped to 0.5p you can then buy nearly twice as many shares for the same money you have invested at the moment. That's got to be better than sitting on the shares and worrying . You have the cash in the bank . Can you really see it taking off from here

Not good, when you sack your FD, slaughter your share price for a little over 300k. They need a couple of million at least to get them to profitability. 300k will not go far. I think the share price is heading further south. Wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 0.5p over the next 6 months .

Hi Toplocks, i am not convinced as it doesn't seem to have been in the interests of the ordinary investor. Reducing the shareprice to that degree for the sake of just over 300000 is not good. A decent co would have raised on the back of an increase in the shareprice due to good results. Only time will tell, but profitability has been pushed back at least a year, so itmay well start trading below a penny shortly 🤔

Why would you shaft the share price for such a small amount unless you were desperate 🤔 sold out when the price drifted below 2p . It didn't feel right. I won't buy back in now until they can show a profit. I could understand the private placing at say 2p or higher but 1.1p , they have just shafted all the Private shareholders for very little. Not the right way to run a public company 😤
