Ben Richardson, CEO at SulNOx, confident they can cost-effectively decarbonise commercial shipping. Watch the video here.
Thank you Lostinfrance. Too much is stated as fact on this board. Working with isn’t a 7 year commercial contract with cash values attached! We are all keen on news but I don’t think it helps our sanity to believe the Company are manipulating and delaying news for nefarious reasons.
Oh well, 1030 pm onwards tonight we have Continental and Xilinx to complete presentations. Might be some news

CES 2020: How Big Tech is helping transform cars into smartphones
Interesting article with reference to plenty of Companies collaborating with SEE. Shows where this is all heading
https://www.thestar.com.my/tech/tech-news/2020/01/09/ces-2020-how-big-tech-is-helping-transform-cars-into-smartphones
Qualcomm Inc, which already provides the cellular modem chips that allow vehicles to connect to the Internet, introduced a more comprehensive computing system that can manage in-vehicle entertainment and help the car drive itself. One element is a much easier way for automakers and their partners to deliver feature upgrades, such as unlocking a better sound system already built into the car.
Until Tokyo Auto Show begins, who knows what news awaits from there!
When we wake up on Wednesday we will be millionaires ;) #daretodream
Remember Mike L, is head of Fleet too, be aware of the dangers of confirmation bias.
Interesting this came out in Dec 2019: slightly different wording.
NVISO, the leading AI human behaviour company, will demonstrate integration of its cutting-edge Human Emotion AI Application with Seeing Machines’ driver monitoring technology at AI Expo in Tokyo, April 1st – 3rd 2020. The announcement comes after 18 months of collaboration between NVISO and Seeing Machines, a leading provider of Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) technology, to provide safer and more personalized experiences for Automotive OEMs through understanding the emotional state of drivers.
Inappropriate human behaviour while driving is responsible for over 80% of all accidents and 25% of accident-related fatalities. New technologies, such as NVISO’s Human Behaviour AI can help assist connected and future autonomous vehicles in not only providing safer driving experiences but improved comfort and security.
NVISO’s AI technologies analyse the driver’s facial features, including micro-facial muscle movements, to detect emotional activity. Integration with driver monitoring systems will enable more intelligent understanding and alerting of the driver based on a deeper understanding of their state.
“Our vision is to help create safer and more personalized driver and passenger experiences by deeply embedding our AI in every car in the world. Working with industry leader Seeing Machines is a great first step to realizing our vision.” said Tim Llewellynn, CEO and Co-founder of NVISO.
“NVISO are leaders in the sensing of human emotion from facial expression and through our collaboration over these past 18 months, we have determined that they have the right skills and tools for the embedding of that technology into high-value automotive solutions. Our goal is to continue to build our world leading DMS technology portfolio to offer more flexibility and choice to our customers. Forming alliances with algorithm specialists like NVISO help us to achieve that.” added Seeing Machines CEO, Paul McGlone.
About NVISO, is an artificial intelligence company founded in 2009 and headquartered at the Innovation Park of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. The company provides artificial intelligence solutions that can sense, comprehend, and act upon human behaviour using emotion analytics. NVISO’s artificial intelligence solutions create actionable data through its measurement of instantaneous emotional reactions of consumers. This is achieved in real-time using standard camera devices installed on everyday products, such as phones, tablets, and computers with the consent of the user. With a singular focus on how to apply advanced technology to industry and societal problems that matter, NVISO’s solutions help advance human potential.
Well spotted, didnt notice the date. Thought it was this one

Seeing Machines to showcase Driver Monitoring System at Automotive World 2019
Seeing Machines
Seeing Machines will be exhibiting its driver monitoring technology at Automotive World in Tokyo, the world’s largest exhibition for advanced automotive technologies.
Situated on NEXTY’s booth (#E43-38), Seeing Machines will demonstrate its’ Guardian Backup-driver Monitoring System (Guardian BdMS).
Automated driving will make driving easier, more comfortable, and eventually, safer. Entrusting the driving task to a computer will become a reality, but the journey will be gradual, complex, and potentially dangerous. As automated driving technology is tested and refined, it is prudent to have a human backup-driver continue to oversee the automated driving system to help assure safe operation of the vehicle at all times.
Seeing Machines has launched Guardian BdMS, designed specifically for autonomous driving research fleet owners and operators to provide a safety system that supports safe innovation and on-road testing of automated driving technology, helping to ensure the backup driver is ready to take control of the vehicle when automated driving is not possible.
The Guardian BdMS, currently being piloted in several companies in North America, leverages Seeing Machines’ automotive-grade FOVIO driver monitoring technology in a convenient retrofit system for SAE level 3 to 5 test vehicle fleets.
Visit Seeing Machines on the NEXTY booth (#E43-38) at Automotive World in Tokyo from 16 through 18 January 2019.
Knowing what has been declared now, backed up by RNS, this share is an absolute bargain that I would be happy to buy as many shares as I could. I am therefore envious of new buyers when I think of the years I have owned these shares with so much risk attached and it still is cheap as chips. That’s life I suppose. ;) great things are coming
Well, if we are honest, all the RNS have been unexpected so to predict one would be fool hardy. It makes for a bit of excitement for those stuck in UK on cold winter nights. In Terrence we trust ;)
Veoneer CES presentation from Tuesday
Collaborative Driving and the Future of Trust in Mobility
Veoneer predicts that most vehicles sold in 2030 will include collaborative driving technologies, while a fraction will be fully self-driving. Understand how humans and intelligent machines collaborate as a joint cognitive system to enhance the trust necessary for safe mobility.
On the panel we had Matthew Avery
Director of Research, Thatcham Research
Get to 20.40 and hear Mathew say that DMS is the most important emerging technology in this coming decade.

It looks like PI though, where are the big II trades? Hopefully when America awakes we co7ld get some more momentum. Speaking of Momentum where is Menon?
Hey Lewbo, I bet your spider gram is getting a bit messy right now! Nice problem to have. My advice is to use lateral thinking. Complete the graphics with who we are not working with! Imagine if all this information had been released during the CMD, puts the other announcements in the shade!
Toyota, Daimler and Continental are scheduled for CES media presentations today as well, could be more news :)
Sorry article is 2019, but still is about BMW being official which is a funny coincidence
New article about BMW
Terry, great time to be out there. Have you made your appointment yet to go and visit the SEE tech?
Nick said this at the investors day a few months back.
I don’t worry about market, I worry about it all coming at once!
So let me get this right. SEE management has stated time and again we are aiming for 30% or so for the market and then we release an additional lower priced product that opens up the other 70 % . The events don’t follow the guidance but for once I am happy with this anomaly
Plenty of scope for SEE to get mentioned in the following areas;
Back on land, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai and Nissan are among the automakers promising to show off new concept designs.
BMW says its concept car's interior is inspired by boutique hotels
The Detroit Auto Show was previously held soon after CES. But this year it has shifted to June. That may give the car giants more scope to make real-world announcements, as well as show off dream designs.
For now though, only the electric car start-ups Byton and Fisker are certain to show off new models destined for production.
The former is hosting a press conference to demo the user interface of its forthcoming M-Byte four-wheel drive, which includes a "dark mode".
Byton's M-Byte is due to go on sale in China this year, and in Europe and the US in 2021
There will also be lots of chatter about new in-car infotainment experiences too.
Honda has said it will unveil its own virtual assistant, which can be summoned with the wake words "OK Honda".
LG will showcase webOS Auto, an operating system for internet-connected cars. It is based on the firm's much-commended smart TV system, but will face competition from the incumbents Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
To date, LG has only shown concept designs for webOS Auto
Meanwhile, Bosch has been teasing a new kind of 3D display for car dashboards that doesn't require the driver to wear special glasses.
The firm claims that drivers' brains react more quickly to alerts as a consequence, in addition to it being able to show turnings on sat-nav maps more clearly.
Bosch says its 3D screen makes alerts seem "more obvious and urgent"
