15p if we get 30 M worth of licensing and 2 major OEM contracts, one at least should be with VW or Toyota. The large amount of shares will dampen DP gain IMO
SM have a current vacancy for System Test Engineer
They require commercial experience in regulated and safety-critical software development using standards such as ISO 26262, DO-178B or ISO 13485
I thought I would look up what these safety standards actually relate to
ISO 26262 - Road vehicles — Functional safety
DO-178B- Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification.
So far, so obvious but then we have ISO 13485. This is for medical devices, so how does this fit in with Auto and Aviation? A medical device to check fatigue perhaps?
ISO 13485
Safety and quality are non-negotiables in the medical devices industry. Regulatory requirements are increasingly stringent throughout every step of a product’s life cycle, including service and delivery. Increasingly, organizations in the industry are expected to demonstrate their quality management processes and ensure best practice in everything they do.
ISO 13485, Medical devices – Quality management systems – Requirements for regulatory purposes, is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system specific to the medical devices industry. It has recently been revised, with the new version published in March 2016.
Amazon. The online retailer has already ordered 100,000 of the vans, the first of which are due in 2021
That would be a nice contract to win for fleet!
Viva Las Vegas then!
S20, if we are still at this sp in 12 months time I think you are going to need a new name too!
For those not happy with SEE to sell and leave with some profit. Rather than stay and moan. Thanks for the memories and all the research. Missing you.
We are leaving, get used to it. Project Fear has no place anymore.
Share price will rise causing Chris Menon to weep about Corbyn resignation while enjoying watching the value of his share holdings rise.
Prize for the most stupid attitude goes to CFP! Well done.
What better advertisement for SM then respected industry heavyweights personally recommending your products that made them look good. I am sure they also allow potential new clients the opportunity to discuss with satisfied award winning existing clients.
Well as I have met both S2020 and Jazz in the real world, this skill of being the same person certainly had me fooled.
Loss to the community if you have mate, don’t let the trolls get you down. You will be missed but we all must make our own decisions. Good luck, hope you came out with some gain.
Interesting that 30% of votes were against PM getting his termination benefits. That is a shot across the bows from a II I would expect.

1 Imagine if you were contributing to a BBC news article with the brief:
"Artificial eyes: How robots will see in the future"
2 Now imagine you are well re-numerated director of a tech company that specialises in vehicle vision.
3 Now would you encourage the journalist to mention DMS or at the least mention non-exec director role?
Don't be silly. Missed opportunity again, an LSE poster wpould have done a better job promoting SM

The wife might be aware anyway as she was probably talking at you in the cat at the time!
Another article about distracted driving, this time from Canada and only 2 days old, drum beat begins in North America perhaps??

And always remember that some wins were never possible anyway. OEMS may not always choose the best DMS, they may have a strategic partnership with a Tier 1 and be obliged to go with them, regardless of performance or price. Who knows what goes on behind closed doors?
Yes nice one Faz, I was the third PI in the group with Nick D. You nailed it all mate, worth missing lunch. Bdms take away was it’s not going to be hugely significant cash wise but it was a great strategic move that got us working and known by the tech type companies. He also said that they are building our tech into their sensors as part of the testing so knows where this may lead. No monthly monitoring fees involved. Bdms was created adapting the Guardian product so not much outlay in creating the product. We get good prices for the units. Sadly these Companies are not going to shout out about using our tech or promote the safety message as their USP is how safe Automated cars are so why would you need driver monitoring!
CB said the OEMs are already pivoting towards any requirements anyway. Ncap will probably start with basic DMS and get more arduous as time goes on. I will did out the quote he highlighted from an old document which shows the direction of travel favours SM
We shall update with a positive spin to Baxter and his sad friends and a negative spin to the #300 brigade. Can’t say fairer than that :)
